Clifford Gilbert Blackwell

Services for Mr. Blackwell will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Mr. Blackwell, 81, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008. He served in the US Navy for 26 years. During this time he assisted with the pre-invasion and bombing of the beach at Normandy during World War II. He retired from Grumman Aerospace where he did hydraulic testing on Navy A/C and the Lunar Module after 23 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dolly Alexander Blackwell; wife, Helen Masiuk Blackwell; sisters Annie Lumpkin and Era Raines; brothers, Alexander Blackwell, James Blackwell and twin, Clarence Blackwell.

Survivors include: daughter, Amy Blackwell of Alexandria; brother, Bill (Jere) Blackwell of California.

William Hahn Bowman III

Services for Mr. Bowman will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Rex Davis officiating. Interment will be in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Bowman, 56, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at a medical facility. He was of the Baptist faith and attended The First Baptist Church. He was an avid scholar obtaining four undergraduate degrees and a Masters Degree from Middle Tennessee State University, majoring in Construction Management, Computer Science, Journalism, and Photography. He served as Associate Professor at MTSU. He graduated in the top of his class at Cleveland High School and as Valedictorian of Columbia Military Academy. Mr. Bowman owned and operated The Main Street Station Restaurant in Lebanon. He received the Honor Guard Gold Star from President Lyndon Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Hahn Bowman Jr. Survivors include: mother, Glenna Walker Bowman; sisters, Elaine B. Clark of Calhoun and Carolyn B. Jones of Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Enrique Correa Jr.

Memorial services for Mr. Correa will be held at a later date.

Mr. Correa, 48, of Madison, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008.

He was preceded in death by father, Enrique Correa Sr. and step-father, William Postelle. Survivors include: mother, Rose Postelle of Madison; children, Derrick Correa of Lebanon, Kristen Nicole Correa of Madison, Trinity Owens of Chattanooga and Natasha Crotzer of Lebanon; siblings, Daniel and Andrew Correa, Ruben Lorenzo and Anthony Postelle; grandchildren, Devin Correa, Brianna and Haley Crotzer, Serenity and Spencer Owens and Devin Postelle; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jackie Lowe Davis

Services for Mr. Davis were Sunday, July 27 at Love Cantrell Chapel with Bro. David Carden officiating. Interment was in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Davis, 58, of Smithville, died Friday, July 25, 2008 at his residence. He was a construction worker with Jones Brothers and attended Mt. Herman Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by parents, Walter Lee and Carrie Morgan Davis; brothers, Willie Lee and Bobby Lester Davis; and sister, Earlene Carslon. Survivors include: wife, Linda Vanatta Davis of Smithville; daughter, JoAnn (James) Estes of Smithville; son, Bobby (Patty) Davis of Lebanon; grandchildren, Austin, Lacie and B.J. Davis, all of Lebanon; brothers, Ray and Neal Davis of Mt. Juliet; and sisters, Betty Kilby of Lebanon and Robbie (Charles) Webber of Mt. Juliet.

Pallbearers were James Estes, Austin and Bobby Davis, William Morris, Charles Vanatta, Jimmy Neal, James Burton and Steve Rice.

Jimmy Ray "Nicky" Gann Jr.

Graveside services for Mr. Gann will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6 at Conatser Cemetery with Wyman Wiser officiating.

Mr. Gann, 45, of Murfreesboro, died Friday, Aug. 1, 2008 at his residence. He was a native of Wilson County and self-employed in the construction business.

Survivors include: parents, Jimmy Ray Gann Sr. and Mary Jane Marmon Sells; sister, Tina Gann Longshore; nephew, Chad Longshore; uncles, Jerry Lee, Phillip and Carl (Brenda) Marmon and Kenneth (Hazel) and Charlie (Sharon) Gann; aunts, Samantha Dunkin, Paulette Beasley, Margie (Vernon) Pope, Louise (Sam) Watson, Edith Styles and Billie Fay Griffin; and several cousins.

Clarence Raymond Ingram

Mr. Ingram, known by many as "Buttermillk", died Friday, Aug. 1, 2008. He served his country in the Army from 1952-1954 as an Aviation Engineer. He retired from Ford Glass Plant as a furnace specialist. He was a member of Rhema Bible Church.

Survivors include: wife of 57 years, Thelma Jean Ingram; children, Timothy Ingram, Deborah Maxwell, and Delana Frazier; son-in-law, Bob Frazier; and daughter-in-law, Marsha Ann Ingram; grandchildren; Todd Maxwell, Kelly Abney, Austin Frazier, and DeDe Koewler; great-grandchildren; Tyler Maxwell, Chandler Koewler and Macie Thomas.

Harold Eugene Jarvis

Services for Mr. Jarvis will be conducted in Ohio.

Mr. Jarvis, 87, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008. He was a member of Highlandtown United Methodist Church and a US Army veteran, serving in the European Theatre in World War II. He was a member and past member of Salineville Masonic Lodge and the football announcer for Southern Local High School for 15 years.

He was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Lena McClurg Jarvis; daughters, Cheryl Tracy and Jean Kozar; and five siblings. Survivors include: wife of 52 years, Mary Jarvis of Mt. Juliet; son, John (Patty) Jarvis of East Liverpool, Ohio; daughter, Marianne (Allan) Wise of Mt. Juliet; brother, Glenn Jarvis of Salineville, Ohio; sister, Agnes Ward of Wellsville, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

Eugene Thomas Lennon

Services for Mr. Lennon will be 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 at Sellars Funeral Home. Interment will be in Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 11 a.m. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lennon, 78, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008. He served in the US Army in the Korean War and worked as a fireman in Chicago.

Survivors include: wife of 58 years, Lorraine Lennon of Lebanon; children, Susan (George) Rocco of Mt. Juliet, David (Melissa) Lannom of Portland, Ore. and Cindy (Andy) Mullins of Lebanon; and grandchildren, Kelly (David) Moser, Michael (Caitlin) Rocco, Tracey Elizer, Jessica and Travis Stamps, Matthew Lennon, and Devin and Ian Atkins.

Jack Martin Sr.

Mr. Martin died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008. Arrangements are incomplete.

Marilyn Ann Rose

Services for Mrs. Rose will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6 at Wilson County Funeral Home with the Rev. Barry Ellis officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rose, 53, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 at University Medical Center.

Survivors include: mother, Carol Ann Louise Clark; daughters, Nicole Lynn Morgan, Michelle Marie (Damon) Austin and Andrea Megan Rose; brothers, Gary (Kim) and Ben (Laura) Bradshaw; sister, Linda (James) Fuqua; grandchildren, Amber, Rachel, Taylor, Tyler, Trent and Braylen; great-grandchild, Avah; nieces, Katie, Jessica, Christy and Payton; nephews, Luke, Allen, Logan and Jarred; and cousins, Patty and Diane.
