Jimmy W. Darnell
Services for Mr. Darnell will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 at First Presbyterian Church, 101 Legends Drive, Franklin with Pastor Chris Joiner officiating. Interment will be in Williamson Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites conducted at graveside by Dan Welch, Funeral Master. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 p.m. to service time Thursday at the church.
Mr. Darnell, 57, owner of Utility Trailer Sales of Tennessee with offices in Lebanon, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 at his residence. Born in Bedford County, he attended Columbia Military Academy, graduating as Valedictorian of the Class of 1969 and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He was a member of Hiram Masonic Lodge No. 7, Free & Accepted Masons, and a Knight Templar in the York Rite Bodies. He was elected Mason of the Year for excellence in achievement for 2008.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Ruth Hill Darnell. Survivors include: wife of 39 years, Sherri Burt Darnell of Franklin; sons, Sean Darnell and Chandler (Renae) Darnell of Spring Hill; sisters, Brenda Darnell, Janis (Mark) Cannon, and Sandy Gordon, all of Shelbyville; father and step-mother, J. T. and Nell Darnell of Shelbyville; nieces and nephews, Blake and Ashley Cannon, and Lauralee and Andrew Gordon, all of Shelbyville.

Pallbearers will be Mark Cannon, Eddie Woods, Albert Beatty, Robb Ramey, Curtis Lane, and Steve Richards. Honorary pallbearers include Gary Neill, Brent Holton Burt, Walter Webb, Mike Brown, and members of Hiram Masonic Lodge No. 7.

Carlos Andrew Hamlet
Services for Mr. Hamlet will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. David Haun officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Hamlet, 67, of Watertown, died Monday, Aug. 4, at NHC Healthcare.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas W. and Affie Mai Phann Hamlet and brothers, Charles, Eston and William Hamlet.
Survivors include: wife, Linda Watts Hamlet of Watertown; children, Diane (Rick) Stephens, Carlos (Tina) Hamlet, Jr. and Bobby (Peggy) Hamlet, all of Watertown; grandchildren, A.J. Hamlet and Cody, Shelby and Wesley Hamlet; brothers, James (Frances) Hamlet of Watertown and Ray Hamlet of Sparta; sisters, Ruth Castell of Gainesboro, Liza Ann Coffee of Gainesboro, Lorene Rymer of Rome, Ga., and Lucille (Joe) Fitts of Temperance Hall and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Jackie Lee Martin Sr.
Services for Mr. Martin will be 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 at Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Brady officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Martin, 66, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2008.
He was preceded in death by parents, Roy Franklin and Millie Bates Martin. Survivors include: children, Jackie Martin Jr. of Georgia, Kenneth Martin of Lebanon, Randall (Vicki) Martin of Milton and Melissa Armstrong of McEwen; sisters, Ruth Ervin and Ruby Samaniego; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and friend Rita Briley of Cottontown.
