Jim "Tiny" Clark

Graveside services for Mr. Clark will be 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8 at Wilson County Memorial gardens with Dr. Larry Locke and Jimmy McDowell officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.

Mr. Clark, 53, of Nashville, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008 at his residence. He was born on Burtonwood Air Force Base in Warrington, England. He retired from the US Navy with 15 years of service.

He was preceded in death by father, Noah Alfred Clark Jr. Survivors include: son, Jeremy James (Omega) Clark of Pensacola, Fla.; mother, Edie Bult Clark; brother, Stuart (Crystal) Clark; and sister, Lisa (Jeff) Brockette, all of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Arthur, Michael and Darryl Bult, Jeff and Drew Brockette, Stevie
Whitaker, Carl Crawford, Brad Powers and Noah Clark.

Jo Ann Hicks

Services for Mrs. Hicks will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Hunter Funeral Home with Elder Leon White officiating. Interment will be in Jones Hill Cemetery. Visitation will Friday, Aug. 8, from 1-8 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 9, from 11 a.m. until service.

Mrs. Hicks, 63, of Watertown, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at Alive Hospice at Saint Thomas Hospital.

She was preceded in death by special grandparents, James and Edna Stinnett; mother, Mildred Louise (Stinnett) Roberts; son, David Thompson and stepsons, Randall and Robert Hicks.

Survivors include: husband, Tom Hicks of Watertown; children, Jimmy (Jane) Thompson of Louisville, Ky., Joseph (Kim) Hicks of Lebanon, Brad (Stephanie) Hicks of Lebanon, Dee Hicks of Lebanon and Amy (Elliot) Persinger of Watertown; stepchildren, Christy (Lynn) Tisdale of Brush Creek and Betty (Danny) Prater of Smithville; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat (Gary) Aikens of Lebanon, Cathy (Stanley) Everett of Lenoir City and Susie Cobb of Lenoir City; numerous nieces and nephews; special aunt and uncle, Dee and Faye Stinnett of Lenoir City; special cousin, Linda Presley of Lenoir City and special friend, Mary Jo Hicks of Murfreesboro.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jason Thompson, Kyle Hicks, Gregory Hicks, Austin Thompson, Zach Hicks and Tim Hicks. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Cameron Wells and Brayden Hicks and special friend, Michael Drake.

Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
