Howard Baird Donnell
Services for Mr. Donnell will be Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m. at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown. Interment will be in Commerce. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
Mr. Donnell, 83, of Watertown died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro, Tenn. A World War II veteran, he had worked for the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation and was a member of Watertown Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alexander Clarence and Ethel Turner Donnell; step-mother, Faustine Agee Donnell; and brother, Robert Thomas Donnell.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Margaret Donnell of Watertown; daughters Janet (Tony) Bane of Woodbury and Karen Donnell of Watertown; son, Howard Wayne (Gina) Donnell of Liberty; grandchildren, Jeff (Jennifer) Bane and Connie (Bobby) Moore, all of Woodbury; Allison (Jason) Greer of Lebanon; Amanda (Arron) Payne and Julie Donnell, all of Watertown; step-grandchildrenn, Amanda and Sara Price; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Bryson and Mason Greer; Austin and Abbye Moore; and Matthew Bane; a sister, Ethelyne (Jack) Lannom of Lebanon.
Pallbearers will be Arron Payne, Tony Bane, Bobby Moore, Jason Greer, Hugh Roy King, Tom King and Jeff Bane.
Carrie Mae Whitfield Gray
Services for Mrs. Gray will be Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon, with Bro. Mark Rager officiating. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday 11 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Gray, 98, of Lebanon, died sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at Quality Care Nursing Home. She was born in Wilson County, the daughter of the late A.W. and Era Lee Wilkerson Whitfield. She was a homemaker and a member of LaGuardo Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Gray; five brothers, Howard, Frank, Lester, Glenn and Cecil Whitfield.
She is survived by two daughters: Temple (Omrie) Allen of Lebanon and Gladys (Don) Loftis of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Jerry Loftis and Teresa Scruggs; one great-grandson, Clay Loftis.
Services for Mr. Robertson will be today (Monday) Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. at J.C. Hellum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Owens officiating. Interment will be in Rest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. with the funeral to follow.
Mr. Robertson 49, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, at University Medical Center.
Survivors include a son, Gabe Brooks; a daughter, Tenecca Jobe; two brothers, Clarence and Bobby Jennings; a sister, Debra Abston; three granddaughters and other relatives and friends.
