Lenora Gann

Graveside services for Mrs. Gann will be noon Friday, Feb. 12 at Ridgewood Cemetery in Carthage with Bro. Jimmy Gregory officiating. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 10-11:30 a.m. Friday at Sanderson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gann, 99, of South Carthage, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 at Martha's Boarding Home. She was a graduate of Ennis High School in Ennis, Ky. and a member of Rome Baptist Church and the Lebanon Road Home Demonstration Club.

She was preceded in death by parents, Isaac and Annie Kimmel Penrod; son, James Wilson "Jimmy" Gann and husband, James Harrison Gann.

Survivors include: children, Jerry (Nancy Givens) Gann and Annette (Glenn) Whitefield, both of Lebanon and Barney (Holly Hughes) Gann of South Carthage; daughter-in-law, Jean Gann of Jacksonville, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mary Alice Knight

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.

Mrs. Knight, 95, of Mt. Juliet, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009.

Survivors include: brothers, Glenn (Madolyn) Pardue and Nelson (Doris) Pardue; friend, Leila (Sam) Gallaher; and several nieces and nephews.

Jesse C. (J.C.) Parker

Mr. Parker, 67, of Laurel Bloomery, Tenn. and formerly of Lebanon, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009. He was born to Herbert and Judi Bell Parker. He was a gunner on a B-29 with the US Air Force, serving in Japan and Korea. He learned to fly and was a trucker with millions of miles under his belt. He also operated heavy equipment.

Survivors include: many friends; four children; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, one sister and two dogs.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to your local Humane Society.

Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church St., Mountain City, Tenn. is in charge of arrangements.

Wanda King Taylor

Services for Mrs. Taylor will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12 at Hermitage Funeral Home with the Rev. Chuck Groover officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Taylor, 64, of Mt. Juliet, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009.
She was preceded in death by parents, Everette and Sarah King; and brother, Jerry King.

Survivors include: daughters, Kim (Jay) Szarek and Kirsten Franke; sons, J. Scott (Julie) and Greg Taylor; granddaughters, Jordan and Jada Taylor, Kaylie and Karissa Szarek and Hannah Franke; grandson, Jonah Franke; and sister, Susan Ramsey.

Pallbearers will be Brian Ramsey, Jon King, Mike Graves, Alan Hayes, Jay Mezzatesta and Bob Lanier. Honorary pallbearers will be staff at Rutland Elementary School.
