Thelma Louise Lynch Sevier
Services for Mrs. Sevier will be 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 at Bass Funeral Home Gordonsville Chapel with Bros. Pete Tilbe and Charlie Pollard officiating. Interment will be in Gordonsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sevier, 70, of Gordonsville, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at Riverview Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and member of Macedonia Baptist Church of New Middleton and taught Sunday School for over 35 years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ruth Mai Hindsley and Aaron Lynch; siblings, Hubert and Cecil Lynch, David Watts, Barbara Nannie; and step-father, Fed Watts.
Survivors include: husband, Darnell Sevier of Gordonsville; daughters, Janice (Michael) Ballard of Gordonsville, Patricia (Steve) Massey of Elmwood, Tenn. and Melissa (Gary) Gregory of Lebanon; sons, Eric (Peggy) and Ferlin Sevier, both of Gordonsville and Sammy Sevier of Cookeville; grandchildren, Shannon and Shawna Gregory, Felicia (Kevin) Watts, Matt Ballard, Miranda (David) Martin, Randy, Zac, Jeremy, Ashley, Amber and Lola Sevier and Kristina (Vince) Randolph; great-grandchildren, Colton Gregory, Jaylyn Martin and Kaytlee and Kyler Randolph; sister, Edwina (Leon) Boyd of Buffalo Valley, Tenn.; and sister-in-law, Mary Lynch of Lebanon.
