Services for Mrs. Clemmons will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 at Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Carrington officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clemmons, 89, of Dickson, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009 at NHC Healthcare of Dickson.
She was preceded in death by husband, James "Porter" Clemmons; parents, Samuel and Nellie Denny; and brother, Charles Denny.
Survivors include: daughter, Mari-Louise (Robert) Spencer of Dickson; grandchildren, Jamie Rose, Dani Howard and Shawn Spencer; great-grandchildren, David Musselwhite, Justin, Brenna, Angela, Candace, Camille and Brandon Howard and Alexis and Aaron Spencer; great-great-grandchild, Gavin Musselwhite; and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Creswell will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Dr. Larry Locke officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Creswell, 72, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009. He was a sales representative and member of College Hills Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by parents, Doddie and Dorris Creswell; and brother, Joe Creswell.
Survivors include: wife, Jamie Griffin Creswell; daughter, Lisa (Christopher) Groce; sons, Mark (Denise), Chet, Jim (Jayme) and Josh (Mary Beth) Creswell; brother, Jerre Creswell; sister, Ann (Ernest) Sanders, sister-in-law, Janie Creswell; grandchildren, Judson, Kathleen Groce, Hannah, Graham Creswell, Preston, Garner Creswell, Griffin, Drew Creswell.
Flowers accepted or donations may be made to Fellowship House c/o College Hills Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be Mark, Chet, Jim and Josh Creswell, Spook Spickard and Mitchell Griffin.
Services for Mr. Gann were held Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at Valhalla Funeral Home in Huntsville, Ala. Interment was in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gann, of Huntsville and formerly of Lebanon, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008. He was retired from the US Army and served twice in Vietnam, receiving numerous awards. He was employed in helicopter maintenance prior to retirement.
He was preceded in death by parents, Lewis and Ovilla Gann; and brothers, Milton, Odell and Robert "Sonny" Gann.
Survivors include: wife of 53 years, Hazel Gann of Huntsville; daughters, Sherry (John) Perry, Melody Nelson and Stephanie (Mike) Hodges, all of Huntsville; son, Billy (Sonia) Gann of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; sisters, Margie Pope, Louise Watson, Edith Styles and Paulette Beasley, all of Lebanon and Billie Griffin of Sarasota, Fla.; brothers, Jimmy and Charles Gann of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Virginia E. â€œNanâ€ Roskam
Services for Mrs. Roskam will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23 at Sellars Funeral home with Bro. Donald Owens officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roskam, 83, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009. She was born in Gotebo, Okla., the oldest of six children. Her family moved to San Diego, Calif. when she was 14 after the Great Depression and Dust Bowl. She moved to Tennessee with her husband Frank. She was retired from the Baptist Sunday School Board (LifeWay).
She was preceded in death by husband Frank F. Roskam, Jr.; parents, Earl and Mary Francis Van Deventer; sisters, Peggy Isbell and Vivian â€œJaneâ€ Young; daughters, Linda â€œJoyceâ€ Baskin and Sue E. Gattis; grandsons Jon Gattis and Randy Malley; and granddaughter, Michelle Malley.
Survivors include: brother Jess (Sharon) Van Deventer of National City, Calif.; sisters, Linda Bennett of Chula Vista, Calif. and Paula (Gary) Yakel of Spring Valley, Calif.; daughters, Mary Kay Smith, Nancy Graham and Gail Orrand, all of Lebanon; son, Frank â€œEddieâ€ (Cindy) Roskam of Lebanon; devoted grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Corey Roskam, Daryl Roskam, Danny Keenan and James Bush.
Sellars Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
