Services for Mrs. Claiborne will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Morrison Street Church of Christ with Bro. David Meek officiating. Interment will be in Gallatin City Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 13, from 1 to 6 p.m. at Carr-Hellum Funeral Home in Hartsville, with family visitation Monday from noon to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral.
Mrs. Claiborne, 45, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Hendersonville Hospital.
Survivors include: husband, Johnny L. Claiborne; son, Bryce Claiborne, both of Hartsville; brothers and sisters, Arquilla L. (Chantelle) Black, Michael D. (Crystal) Black, Henry L. (Mary) Flood, Carrie Walker, Shirley Brown, Paul (Renee) Rogan, Clara (Emanuel) Jackson, Winston Rogan, all of Gallatin; Herbert J. (Melanie) Black of Bowling Green, Ky.; Irene (Benjamin) Cook of Montgomery, Ala.; Rita Rogan of Franklin, Ky.; and many other relatives and friends.

Robert Curtis Hagar
Services for Mr. Hagar will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 14, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. David Shannon officiating. Interment will be in Binkley-Hagar-Steele Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hagar, 89, of Hermitage, died Thursday, July 10, 2008. He was a member of New Hope Church and was a World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Annie Sue Wingler Hagar; and brothers, Wray and Walter Hagar.
Survivors include: wife, Anna Marie Paluga Hagar; sons, Steve (Julia), Roy (Elaine) and William L. "Bill" Hagar; daughters, Barbara (Eddie) Putty and Betty Tyson; sisters, Madge Self and Gladys George; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Samantha, Tiffany and Stephanie Hagar, Patty and Joey Tyson and Amy and Ricky Putty; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services for Mr. Spurlock will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 13, at Hunter Funeral Home. Internment will follow at the Spurlock Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. till 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. till service time Sunday.
Mr. Spurlock, 70, died Thursday, July 10, 2008, at his Watertown residence. He worked at the K.O. Lester Co. Warehouse.
Mr. Spurlock was preceded in death by his parents, William N. and Kathleen Miller Spurlock.
He is survived by cousins, Delmar Spurlock of Statesville and Irene Fuston Spurlock of Woodbury.
