William Herschel Campbell

Services for Mr. Campbell will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 22 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Rev. Billy Friel, Rev. David Fallon, Ralph W. Campbell and Chuck Campbell officiating. Interment will follow the services at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday from noon until the service.

Mr. Campbell, 95, of Mt. Juliet, passed away on July 19, 2008. He was employed at DuPont for 48 years and the Mt. Juliet Funeral Home for 12 years. He was an active member of the Mt. Juliet First Baptist Church serving as Deacon, Usher and Greeter. For 43 years, he ministered to Wilson County nursing homes including Margie Anna Nursing Home, Johnson Retirement Nursing Home, and Mt. Juliet Health Care.

He was preceded in death by parents, Nealus Tom and Ellen Thomas Campbell; brothers, Roy Campbell and George Campbell; and sister, Lelia Allison. He is survived by wife of 71 years, Annie Elizabeth Campbell; sons, Ralph (Nolene) Campbell and Wayne (Carolyn) Campbell; grandchildren, Chuck (Jackie) Campbell and Rachel (Brody) Ferrell; great-grandson, Grant Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Billy Joe Dodd

Services for Mr. Dodd 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 22 at Sellars Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3 p.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Dodd, 44, of Castalian Springs, died Saturday, July 19, 2008. He was a Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Charlie B. and Mamie Dood and Haskell Smith. Survivors include: parents, Frank and Jean Dodd of Castalian Springs; sisters, Dorothy (Mike) Johnson of Clarksville and Angie (Dale) Wynn of Westmoreland; grandmother, Juanita Smith of McMinnville; children, Sabrina (Erin) Zupko of Georgia and Daniel (Jessica) and Keith Dodd of Arkansas; grandchildren, Eyan and Brianna Zupko; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Hewey Joseph Smith

Services for Mr. Smith will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22 at Hermitage Funeral Home with the Rev. Clint Jones officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and two hours prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith, 83, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, July 20, 2008.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Darlene Grubbs. Survivors include: wife of 33 years, Birdie Smith; sons, Mike (Mickie) and Jeff Smith; stepson, Randall (Debbie) Jones;stepdaughters, Glenda Davis, and Vickie (Raymond) Chambliss; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
