Cortez Adams

Services for Mr. Adams will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 4 at Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Bro. Paul Trautner. Interment will be in the Adams Family Cemetery.

Mr. Adams, 80, of the Gibbs Crossroads community died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at University Medical Center. He was a farmer and attended the Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents Samuel Cortez and Grace Kemp Adams.

Survivors include: companion Lynda Sue Simpson of Watertown; friend Ralph Freeman and his wife Janice of Red Boiling Springs; aunt, Ina Kemp of Hermitage Springs; adoptive family Kathy and Troy Pedigo of Murfreesboro, Bobbie Sue and Nick Rud, and Alex and Nicholas Rud, all of Ellebelle, Ga., Henry and Janette Harris of Watertown, Jo Frances and Kenneth Agnew of Carthage; and numerous cousins.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Freeman, Roy Dycus, Bobby Jenkins, Tom Hart, Jr., Jack Brockette, David Jones and Jackie Russell.

Addie Sue Bloodworth

Services for Mrs. Bloodworth will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 3 at Wilson County Funeral Home. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bloodworth, 87, of Carthage and formerly of Laguardo, died Monday, June 2, 2008.

She was preceded in death by parents, Hugh and Bertie Bradley Bloodworth; sister, Mary Thelma Taylor (Joe Louis); and nephew, Robert Hugh Taylor.

Survivors include: niece, Beverly Frye of Lebanon; and nephews, John Taylor of Baton Rouge, La. and James Edward Taylor of Smith County.

Ralph 'Corky' Dickens

Services for Mr. Dickens will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, at Bass Funeral Home in Carthage with Bros. Danny Sellars and Buford Bane officiating. Interment will be in Dickens Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. till the service Tuesday at Bass Funeral Home.

Mr. Dickens, 75, of Lebanon died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by parents, Bethel and Nellie Gentry Dickens; brother, Hershel “Bill” Dickens, and nephews, Charles West Jr. and Gary Wayne West.

Mr. Dickens is survived by sister, Patricia (Charles) West of Lebanon; niece, Brenda (Bobby) Binnion of Lebanon; nephews, Charles Tracy (Jessica) West of Smyrna, Ricky (Amy) Dickens of Gibralter, Mich., Randy (Chris) Dickens of Kalkaska, Mich.; great nieces, Beth (Lucky Duncan) Binnion, Alyssa West; great nephews, Brent (Brandy) Binnion, Matthew West, Nicholas and Corey Dickens; great great nieces Alexis, Shania, and Kalee; great great nephews Jordan, Jaylin, Christopher and Kaleb.

Pall bearers will be family and friends.

Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.

Cleo Dillard

Services for Mrs. Dillard will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 4 at Wilson County Funeral Home. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dillard, 84, of Nashville and formerly of Smyrna, died Sunday, June 1, 2008.

She was preceded in death by parents, Jay and Nezzie Hibbon Patterson; husband, Robert Dillard; and daughter Patricia. Survivors include: brother, Herbert Patterson of Smyrna; sisters, Viola Arnold and Hazel Leech, both of Nashville; and two grandchildren.

Emma Jean Gentry

Services for Mrs. Gentry will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 3 at Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Don McElroy officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gentry, 89, of Lebanon, died Friday, May 30, 2008.

She was preceded in death by parents, John and Stella Ann Yeargin Parker; husband, Vestle Wayne Gentry; daughter, Pamela Alyne Hodge; sister, Alyne Parker; and brother, Earl Parker.

Survivors include: children, Gary Wayne (Judy) Gentry of Knoxville, Patrick Alan Gentry of Lebanon. Lois Jean Sidders of Lawton, Okla. and Dr. Louis Dean Gentry of Mountain View, Calif.; grandchildren, Sgt. 1st Class James Edward “Eddie” Apple, Greg Gentry, Kim Hunnicutt, Marie Davis, and Matthew Upton; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Susie Thorne Lasater

Services for Mrs. Lasater will be 3 p.m. Thursday, June 5 at Hermitage Funeral Home with the Revs. W.L. Baker and Jack Baron officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and two hours prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lasater, 82, of Watertown, died Sunday, June 1, 2008. She was a member of Donelson First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband, Dewey Lasater.

Survivors include: daughter, Suzanne (Ray) Hogan; granddaughter, Christy Lasater; great-granddaughter, Aubri Bolling; sisters, Mary Ann Floyd and Peggy Spreeuw; and sister-in-law, Agnes Lasater.

Pallbearers will be Pete Scalf, Percy Young, Bill Floyd, John Lasater, Josh Lacey and Jeff Phillips.

Charles Samuel Moscato

Services for Mr. Moscato will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 5 at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon with Bros. Charles Moscato Jr. and Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday from 4-8 p.m., and Thursday 11 a.m. until the service.

Mr. Moscato, 89, of Lebanon died Monday, June 2, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Genny LLaddico Moscato; sisters, Ginny, Sarah Polvino and Rose Mancuso; brother Ross Moscato, and grandchild, Gina Marie Kordon.

Survivors include: his wife of 62 years, Dowlene Roberts Moscato of Lebanon; two daughters, Rose Ann (Charles) Kordon of Lebanon and Charlene Moscato of Lebanon; son, Charles (Lorie) Moscato Jr. of Olive Branch, Miss.; grandchildren, Charlotte Llobet, Charles (Sherry) Kordon Jr., Joshua and Lauren Moscato, and three great-grandchildren, Jesse White, Cailei and Chelsei Kordon.

Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
