Cynthia Bass

Services for Mrs. Bass were held Friday, May 30 at Teace Funeral Home in Detroit, Mich.

Mrs. Bass, 52, died May 22, 2008 at Detroit Medical Center. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and attended Cumberland University. She received a license in Cosmetology.

She was preceded in death by parents, Beauford Hellums (Jo Ann) and Charlie Mai Wells; and brother, Terrance. Survivors include: son, Juan Hellums of Tennessee; daughter, Michelle Bass of Detroit; grandchildren, Jazten and Paris Bass; stepfather, William Wells (Michelle); grandmother, Jessie "Mama Jessie" Bryant; aunts, Dorothy "Auntie Dolly" Summons and Sharon "Pete" Alexander; uncle, Gregory Bryant, all of Detroit; brother, Johnny (Sherry) Crudup; sister, Juanda Hellums (Tojo) Moore, both of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Afrika Wells; longtime friend, Evelyn Holder of Tennessee; cousins, Brenda Hampton (Sekau) and Douglas Gaines (Valerie) of Arkansas; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and friends.

Donald Sydney Bradley

Services for Mr. Bradley will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8 at Berea Church of Christ with Bro. Greg Smith and Bro. Lee Mangrum officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Bradley, 65, of Lebanon, died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at his home. A cabinet maker, he was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by parents David Sidney Bradley and Janie Margaret Reed Bradley; brother, Glenn Bradley; and granddaughter, Misty Bradley.

Survivors include: children Steve (Dawn) Bradley, Sherry (Bill) Moss, Shane (Tammie) Bradley and Stephanie (Stephen) Napier, all of Lebanon; children's mother, Lois Bradley of Lebanon; friend and caregiver, Earlene Davis; brother, Wayne (Ann) Bradley of Shelbyville; sisters, Barbara (Bill) Pierce of Florida and Jean Carver of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Berea Church of Christ Benevolent Fund, 50 Berea Church Road, Lebanon, TN 37087; or Saint Thomas Hospital Sisters of Charity, 4220 Harding Road, Nashville, TN 37205.
