Oscar Ray Gleaves
Services for Mr. Gleaves will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 3 at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Rader officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Gleaves, 90, of Hermitage, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, He was a WWII Navy veteran, a retired carpenter, a member of McWhitersville Masonic Lodge No. 375, the Al Menah Shriners and Bakers Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by son, Oscar Ray Gleaves Jr.; brother, Guy Thomas Gleaves; and sister, Willie Matlock Gleaves Duncan.
Survivors include: wife of 67 years, Janette Elizabeth Seaborn Gleaves; daughter-in-law, Sherry Gleaves of Mt. Juliet; daughter, Betty (Dwight) Suiter of Cookeville; son, Tom (Debbie) Gleaves of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren, Melissa (Kevin) Williams, Brian (Lori) Gleaves, Heath (Lisa) Suiter, Becca (Scott) Wilson, Ryon (fiance Sarah) Suiter and Robb (Christina), Katie, Destiny and Taran Gleaves; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Caleb, Eli, Jonah, Kenan, Rain, Sage Oscar, Quinn and Duncan; sister-in-law, Claudia Gleaves; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Smith, George Hodges and Kenneth Pritchett.
Vergie Cooper Ledford
Services for Mrs. Ledford will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Ellis officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Tuesday at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Ledford, 77, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009, at her residence. Born in Fentress County, Tenn. she was the daughter of the late Tilford and Rena Smith Cooper. She cared for children in her home for over 50 years. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher in the pre-school department for over 30 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth C. Ledford.
Survivors include: daughter, Margie (Charles) Bennett of Lebanon; granddaughter, Angela Bennett Jarvis of Lebanon; sisters, Betty (James) Claiborne, Nannie (Jack) Cobb, and Fannie (Luther) Beaty all of Jamestown and Neatie (Carl) Gore of Livingston; brothers, Arlie (Ena) and Shelly (Sandra) Cooper, both of Jamestown, Brite Cooper of Livingston and Lannie (Sandra) Cooper of Lebanon; brother- and sister-in-law, Bruce (Janice) Ledford of Lebanon; and sister-in-law, Edith Sells of Livingston; special friend, Shirley Zachary of Lebanon; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeff and Derrick Ledford, Jamie and Joey Conatser, Ronnie, Ricky and Brian Cooper, Dennis Jewell and Scott Gore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Pre-school Department teachers of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Robert Hershel Presley
Services for Mr. Presley will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 4 at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Grooms officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Presley, 89, of Lebanon, died March 1, 2009 at Summit Medical Center. He was a member of the Beckwith Church of Christ, a WWII Army Veteran serving as a Corporal, and a retired employee with TRW Ross Gear.
He was preceded in death by parents, Cooper and Ida Mae Bowen Presley; brothers, Clarence Presley and Ezell Burgess; and sister, Mattie Mae Templeton.
Survivors include: wife, Katie Mai Denney Presley; daughter, Brenda Joyce(Tommy) Draper; sister, Nora Belle Weister; grandchildren, Clinton Douglas (Julie) Draper, Lisa Kay Draper (Jacky) Whited, Amanda (Jason) Louder, Sheena Draper Felts, and Richard Len Draper; great-grandchildren, Anna Kay, Presley Renee and Thomas Stone Draper, Savannah Rae and Austin Draper Felts and Lucas Jackson Whited; special niece, Marilyn Brandt.
Pallbearers will be Clint, and Richard Draper, Julian Stone, Jacky Whited, Mike Vaughn, Keith and Todd Mays and Chris Presson.
