Robert Lowe Crutcher

Services for Mr. Crutcher will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Denton and Bro. Kenny Layne officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Crutcher, 68, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, March 2, 2009, at University Medical Center. Born in Wilson County, he was the son of the late Joe and Ruby Mae Newton Crutcher.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Mary A. Harris, Doris Bush, Nell Greer, Louise Corley and Myrtle Bell Parkerson; and brother, Charles Crutcher.

Survivors include: sister, Josephine Springer; and brothers, Ray, Thomas, Edward and Howard Dayton Crutcher, all of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sadie Driver

Services for Mrs. Driver will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at Sanderson Funeral Home Carthage Chapel with Eld. Dean Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Driver, 83, of South Carthage, died Monday, March 2, 2009 at Hendersonville Medical Center. She was a member of Dixon Creek Missionary Baptist Church at Cato and retired from the former Carthage Shirt Corporation where she had worked for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by parents, Ferd and Annie Woodard Thomas; husband, Ernest Lester "E.L." Driver; siblings, Isabell Dickens, Lela Hailey, Leelie Hensley, Lena Angel and Genie Thomas; grandson, Kevin Hensley; and great-grandchildren, James Hunter and Brandie Nekole Hensley.

Survivors include: children, Nancy (Jerry) Gann of Lebanon, Betty Key of Turkey Creek and Wayne (Virginia) Givens of South Carthage; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Mildred Dee McCrary Gannon

Services for Mrs. Gannon will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 5, at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bros. Glen McDonald and Randy Ward officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gannon, 77, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Adams Place. She was a homemaker and member of Vine Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by parents, John and Dollie Barrett McCrary; brothers, John Jr. and Jerry McCrary; and sisters, Thelma Jernigan, Mary Wright, Alice Newman and Elizabeth McCrary.

Survivors include: husband of 58 years, James Roy Gannon; sons, Frank (Marlene) and Jeff (Lisa) Gannon; daughter, Marilyn (Jerry) Todd; grandchildren, Troy (Angie), Tori and Christopher Gannon and Brandy Todd; four great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; sister, Voline Perry; brother, Frank (Ruth Ann) McCrary; sister-in-law, Ruby McCrary; caregiver, Tammy Maupin; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Caris Hospice, Cancer Association, or the charity of your choice.

Peggy Ruth Lovett

Memorial Services for Mrs. Lovett will be 7 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Cainsville United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Lovett, 71, of Lebanon, died Monday, March 2, 2009. She was a member and treasurer of the Cainsville United Methodist Church and an active member of the Friends of Cedars of Lebanon group.

She was preceded in death by parents, Charles W. and Lula I. West Ford; sister, Mary Ann Georges; and brothers, Donald E. Ford and David Ford.

Survivors include: husband of 53 years, Dwight Herbert Lovett; son, Daniel A. (Angela) Lovett; several nieces and nephews; and grandson, Sam Lovett.

Susan Huntsberger McDonald

Services for Mrs. McDonald will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Dr. John Cheetham officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. McDonald, 62, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, March 2, 2009 at University Medical Center. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by father, Charles N. “Chuck” Huntsberger.

Survivors include: mother, Ardyth Huntsberger of Lebanon; daughter, Kirsten (Scott) Harris of Lebanon; sister, Cheri Huntsberger (Drew) Stewart of Nashville; nieces, Catie and Beth Stewart.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Bucy, Ronnie Marks, Scott Harris, and Drew Stewart. Honorary Pallbearers will be cousins from Ohio and the Pediatric Nursing Staff from University Medical Center.

Clara Ruth Underwood

Services for Ms. Underwood will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 6, at the Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Kenny Layne and Bro. Ray Pledger officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, from 2-8 p.m. and Friday, March 6, from 11 a.m. until service time.

Ms. Underwood, 56, of Mt. Juliet, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at St. Thomas Hospital. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank and Mary Underwood and Bill and Goldie Bennett.

Survivors include: mother, Clara (John R.) Sutton; sisters, Bobbie (George) Swift and Patricia (Ricky) Goins; brothers, Roger (Julie) Underwood and Robert (Judy) Underwood and nieces and nephews, Chris and Barry Eubank, Shana Shaffin, Paige Goins, Triba Swift and Alex, Amy, Brian and Jordan Underwood.

Pallbearers will be Chris and Barry Eubank, Charlie Hendrix, Casey and Charles Harper and Visuit Saeaung. Honorary pallbearer Tiny "Ronald" Underwood.
