Kenneth Glen Brinson
Services for Mr. Brinson will be 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Don Johnson officiting. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3 at Green Hill Cemtery in Berryville, Vir. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 1 p.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Brinson, 76, of Mt. Juliet, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007. He was a retired Lt. Col. in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Tulip Grove Baptist Church and active in the Wilson County republican Assembly.
He was preceded in death by parents, Glen and Bessie Tuttle Brinson. Survivors include: wife, Jan Brinson; children, Bruce and William (Veronica) Brinson and Lezlie (Hardy) Schreiber; step-children, Cheryl (Pete) Gilbert, William (Kimiko) Warren and Jennifer (Brian) Huddleston; sister, Dorothy Burgess; nine grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Friendship Class at Tulip Grove Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Wilson County Right to Life.

Services for Mrs. Brown will be 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at Partlow Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. at Hartsville Cemetery with Dr. John Cheetham and the Rev. Eric Limbo officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown, 89, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at Cedars Health Care. She was a charter member of Westland United Methodist Church and owner of Herstineâ€™s Dance Studio. She was with the Davis Shop for many years.
She was preceded in death by parents, Judson and Edna Throp Oakley; husbands, Walton Allen Broom and Joe M. Brown; and sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and and Jack Patterson. Survivors include: daughter, Sandra (Jerry) Vance; grandchildren, Allen (Mary-Margaret Farris) and Kevin (Becky) Vance; great-grandchildren, Michael and Christopher Vance and Candice, Ross and Kristina Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be staff and nurses at Cedars Health Care Skill Unit.
Services and interment for Mrs. Dâ€™Angelo will be Saturday, Dec. 1 in Fredericktown, Penn.
Mrs. Dâ€™Angelo, 96, of Watertown, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007 at Cedars Health Care Center. She worked in retail.
She was preceded in death by parents, George and Annantonia Mancini Palombo. Survivors include: nieces and nephews, Toni (Allen) Tatu of Watertown, Mark (Sandi) Palombo of Huntington Beach, Fla., Toni (Ed) Powali of Tampa, Fla., and Sandy (Tom) Nedley of Cleveland, Ohio.
Retta Lewis Armstrong Hill
Services for Mrs. Hill will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church with Elds. Kenneth Massey and Johnny Carver officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Friday at Bond Memorial Chapel and 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Hill, 73, of Madison, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007. She was a member of McFerrin Missionary Baptist and ministered to those in need by preparing food.
She was preceded in death by parents, Alton James and Zetta Irene Anderson Lewis; and first husband, M. Thomas Armstrong. Survivors include: husband, James Hill; children, Rick (Myra) and Jon R. (Charlotte) Armstrong, Louann (Danny) Dyer, and Kristi (Ron) Stewart; brother, Alton Doyle (Linda) Lewis; sisters, Patricia (Larry) Lovvorn and May Elizabeth (Ron) Robertson; and grandchildren, Jennifer and Ricki Armstrong, Stephanie Stewart and Angela (Randy) Usery.
Pallbearers will be Ricki Armstrong, Al and Ashley Lovvorn, Eld. Brian Johnson, Wayne Jones and Sam Oldham. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilson Dillard, Wesley Van Hooser, Larry Tate, Paul Patterson, Dewitt Thompson III, the women of McFerrin Lift Club and other close friends. Mr. Lea, 59, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007. He is preceded in death by parents Austin and Patty Hackney Lea; brothers A.C. â€œSlickâ€ Lea, Robert Lea and David â€œTarzanâ€ Lea; and sister Hester Howard.
Survivors include: wife Thelma â€œBettyâ€ Lea; daughter Janet (Michael) Cook of Gordonsville; step-son Donnie (Ashley Pendleton) Bond Jr. of Lebanon; siblings Lucille (Douglas) Hobbs, Ruth (Robert) Ricketts, Virginia Hallums, Margie (Bill) Trice and Sue Barnes, all of Lebanon; special grandaughter Alana Pendleton; grandsons Austin Lankford and Ethan Cook of Gordonsville; special great-nephew Xavier Balance; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
