Beatrice Moore

Services for Mrs. Moore will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Rager and Judy Beavers officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Norene. Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 10, from 2-8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 11, after 9 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mrs. Moore, age 94 of Lebanon died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2008, at her home.
She was a member of the Rocky Valley Baptist Church and retired from Precision Rubber.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carter Bain and Hattie Frances Lain Suite; husband, Forrest Moore; infant son and brother-in-law, Bill Clemons.

Survivors include: children, Joyce Ann (Ray) Sanford, Howell Clifton (Peggy) Tribble Jr. and Mary Jane (Mack) Hollis; sister, Frances Jean Clemons all of Lebanon; 12 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Hollis, Kase Hollis, Jimmy Tribble, Steve Sanford, Kerry Sanford and David Sanford.

Memorials may be made to the Rocky Valley Baptist Church or to Odyssey Hospice.

Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sylvia Estes Redmon

Services for Ms. Redmon will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Watertown Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Donald Owens and the Rev. Rodger McCann officiating. Interment will be in Dekalb County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 11, from 8 a.m. until noon at Hunter Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before service.

Ms. Redmon, 75, of Watertown, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at her residence. She graduated from the Baptist School of Nursing where she received the Florence Nightingale Award. Ms. Redmon was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of the Watertown Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Albert Estes and Hester Kate Sullivan Estes and brother, Don Estes.

Survivors include: children, Scotty Redmon, Watertown, Kathy Phillips, Watertown, and Sammy (Teresa) Redmon, Murfreesboro; son-in-law, Troy Phillips, Watertown; children's father, Mack Redmon, Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Phillips, Franklin, Samuel Redmon, Murfreesboro, Justin Redmon, Watertown, and Dalton Phillips, Watertown; sister, Linda (Pete) Strasburg, Sparta, and Dora (James Brazier) Estes, Smithville; brother, Bass (Montie) Estes, Smithville, and sister-in-law, Myrna Estes of Cookeville.

Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
