Carl Arrington

Services for Mr. Arrington will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. Martin Thielen and David Hesson officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Arrington, 88, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008 at his residence. He was a 1938 graduate of Lebanon High School and a graduate of Sparta School of Aeronautics. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, served in the Coast Guard during World War II and retired from the National Weather Service. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the National Association of Federal Employees.

He was preceded in death by parents, John Pemberton and Callie Young Arrington; sons, Charles and Perry Arrington; and sister, Lena Eskew. Survivors include: wife of 58 years, Esther Groom Arrington; and son, Ronald (Janet) Arrington of Atlanta, Ga.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the VFW.

Kenneth Jackson

Services for Mr. Jackson will be 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Atnip officiating. Interment will be in Chapman Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. and Friday after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Jackson, 85, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at his residence. He was a 1942 graduate of Lebanon High School and retired from Tennessee Central Railroad. He was a Ham Radio operator and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by parents, Ruben Haskell and Willie Dee Jarret Jackson. Survivors include: wife of 56 years, Mary Allen Jackson; son, Anthony (Cathy) JAckson of Murfreesboro; grandson, Andrew Robert Jackson of Murfreesboro; and step-granddaughter, Sonya Bildine of Auburntown.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hughes, T.A. Bryan, Drew Jackson, Jack Grant, Doyle Taylor, and Leonard Segel. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of former Tennessee Central Railroad and local Ham Radio operators.

Ann Elizabeth Ladd

Services for Mrs. Ladd will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Cather and Dr. Wayne Jamison officiating. Interment will be in Jones Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ladd, 76, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at Lebanon Health and Rehab.

She was preceded in death by husband, Albert Jack Ladd. Survivors include: daughter, Debby (Jeff) James of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Regan and Morgan James of Murfreesboro; sister, Dr. Alta Lane of Adamsville, Tenn.; brother, Buddy Newman of Reston, Va.; sister-in-law, Patricia Arthur of Johnston, S.C.; niece, Shelia (Shad) Williams of Adamsville; nephew, Mike Arthur of Johnston; and other nieces and nephews.

Artie Mae Rollins

Services for Mrs. Rollins wilil be 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Rick Waldrop officiating.Interment will be in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 1 p.m. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rollins, 76, of Hermitage, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008.

She was preceded in death by parents, Ira and Leona Turner Kelly; husband, Aristotle "Johnny" Rollins; brother, Kenneth Kelly; and sister, Mary Mastne. Survivors include: children, Robert Rollins, Easter Rollins Kott and Trina Rollins Waldrop; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Evelyn Teamer

Services for Mrs. Teamer will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 at Word of Faith Church in Southfield, Mich.

Mrs. Teamer died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008 in Detroit, Mich.

Survivors include: husband, John Teamer and son, Clifton (Alicia) Teamer.
