Allie Denton

Services for Mrs. Denton will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24 ta Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Floyd Farris officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Denton, 94, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008 at Quality Care Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late William Glenn and Tilley Oakley Hudson. She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by parents; husbands, John S. Taylor, Hubert Green and Raymond Denton; brothers, Carlos and Ollie Hudson; sisters, Irene Hallums, Mildred Litchford, Lucille Ogle, Eunice Tribble and Lois Hudson. Survivors include: sisters, Georgia (Frank) Neal and Louise Eastes, both of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Hackett, Clayton Hallums, Bobby Hudson, Terry, Jimmy and Frank Neal III, David Major and Clark Sampson.

Barbara Ann Greenamyer

Services for Mrs. Greenamyer will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at Sellars Funeral Home with Dr. John Cheetham officiating. A service will be held in Coldwater, Mich. Oct. 25 at Gillespie Funeral Home followed by interment in California Corners Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service Friday at Sellars Funeral Home.

Mrs. Greenamyer, 80, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a retired tax assessor.

She was preceded in death by brothers, James and William McNickel; and husbands, Jack Phillips and Leon Greenamyer. Survivors include: sons, Ron (Maxine) Shupp and John (Brenda) Phillips; sister, Mary Lou Ashton; grandchildren, Donald, Bradly and Mark Phillips, Danielle (Chris) Lowry, and Justin (Blondy) and Caleb Shupp.

Pallbearers will be Donald, Bradly and Mark Phillips, Chris Lowry and Justin and Caleb Shupp.

Sarah Allen Jenkins

Services for Mrs. Jenkins will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at North Blvd. Church of Christ with David Young, John Risse and Julian Goodpasture officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Jenkins, 76, of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008 at St. Thomas Hospital. She was born in Wilson County and was the daughter of the late Lee and Mattie Lou Christian Allen. She was a member of the North Blvd. Church of Christ, a retired office manager with Gulf Life Insurance Company and retired as secretary at North Blvd. Church of Christ.

Survivors include: husband of 48 years, Walter Jenkins; daughter, Melanie (Ken) Haynes of Christiana, Tenn.; son, David Jenkins of Murfreesboro; and grandchildren, Nathan and Ashley Haynes of Christiana.

Memorials may be made to the Building Fund at North Blvd. Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be Elders and Deacons of North Blvd. Church of Christ, Jim Estes, Wash Powers, Carl Adkins, J. Carroll Frost, John Catron, Chris Guthrie, Dave Jones and John Knight.

Roberta Agee McCaleb

Services for Mrs. McCaleb will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. James Corley Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Commerce Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. McCaleb, 92, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at Quality Care Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Elbert and Martha Lou Manning Agee. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odell McCaleb; daughters, Janelle Holland, Nancy Yvonne Ferrell, and Susan Pritchett; sister, Earline Malone; brothers, Howard, Carl, Jack and Marvin Agee; granddaughter, Debra Ferrell Leach; and great-grandchildren, Caleb McDaniel and Riley Pritchett.

Survivors include: children, Sandra (Johnny) Hamilton of Johnson City, Edgar Dell (Linda) McCaleb of Crossville, Jackie McCaleb and Valeria (Ron) Ballard all of Lebanon; 15 grandchildren, Michael and Randy Holland, Dana Jones, Beverly Atwood, Linda Smith, Cheryl Lynn Hamilton, Tammy Cain, Janice McDaniel, Chad, Shawn, Joshua and Lucas McCaleb, Lori Gravens, Christy Russell, and Travis Pritchett; 13 great-grandchildren.

Jaidyn Rion Vantrease

Services for infant Vantrease will be noon Friday, Oct. 24 at Lebanon Church of God with Eld. Robert Spickard Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Gladeville Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the service at the church.
Infant Vantrease, 5 months, of Gladeville, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008.

Survivors include: mother, Kelley McClenon; father, Joshua Vantrease; grandparents, Martha McClenon, Scotty McClenon, Melinda Kay (Gregory) Thompson and LaRandall Beard; great-grandparents, Joe (Delia) Spickard Sr., Joann McClenon, Doris Beard, and Ben and Lucille Thompson; great-great-grandmother, Minnie Pearl Adams; a great-great-grandfather; aunts, Ashley, Cortney and Tara McClenon, Taria Vantrease, Sarah Thompson and Brandy Clark; uncles, Lagreggory Sweatt, Gregory Thompson Jr., Desmond McClenon, LaRandall Guy and Carlos Beard; god mother, Ronneshia Teague, special aunts, Linda McClenon and Beulah Shorter; and a host of great-aunts, great-ncles, cousins, family and friends.

Elmer Lee Wright

Services for Mr. Wright will be 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Dr. John Carpenter officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 1 p.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Wright, 89, of Donelson, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008.

He was preceded in death by wife, Rena Creech Wright; parents, W.A. and Lena Wright; brother, W.A. Wright Jr.; and grandson, Brian J. Wright. Survivors include: sons, Randy (Leanne) and Craig (Marge) Wright; daughter, Kay (Jimmy) Holder; grandsons, Casey, Travis and Cody Wright; granddaughters, Kelly Wright and Tina Holder; great-grandsons, Kellen Wright and Awstyn Courneya; and brothers, Raymond and Douglas Wright.
