Clifton L. James
Services for Mr. James will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4 at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville with Bro. Thomas Snow officiating. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. James, 88, of Hendersonville, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2008. He was retired from the Louisville and Nashville Railroad and was a member of the Church of Christ at Trinity Lane. He served in the south Pacific in the Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by parents Leonard James and Annie Randall Carter; and wife, Sarah M. Tucker James.
Survivors include: daughter, Donna Goodman of Hendersonville and Sheron (Bobby) Kirby of Lebanon; sisters, Leona (Fred) Rowe of Nashville and Elizabeth Latensar of Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Jamer T. "Moe" Keeley
Mr. Keeley, 39, of Lebanon, died Sunday, August 31, 2008.
Arrangements at this time for Mr. Keeley are incomplete.

Clarence Wilson "C.W." Russell
Services for Mr. Russell was at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 at Bond Memorial Chapel with William F. McPeak, Tom Russell and Ken Russell officiating. Interment was at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Russell, 100, of Smyrna, died Friday, Aug. 29, 2008. Mr. Russell attended Powell's Chapel Baptist Church and was know for his interest in baseball for country youth and called his little leaguers The Jefferson Spring Juniors.
Mr. Russell played in both the Nashville and Akron city leagues.
Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his parents, William Pinkney and Bertha Towns Russell and siblings; Robert Reed Russell, Gardner Russell, Shilery M. Russell, Hollis M. Russell, Wyman Townes Russell, Helen Virginia Ausbrooks and Marion Elizabeth Tracy.
Mr. Russell was also preceded in death by his wife, Miralee Wright Russell.
Mr. Russell is survived by sons, Tommy (Joy) Russell and Ken (Lydia) Russell; daughters, Becky (Ernie) Blunkall and Jennie (Bill) Green; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children.
Active pallbearers were Bryan Russell, Leigh Ann Russell, Jon Russell, Tony Blunkall, Bethany Green, Erskine Ausbrooks, Jody McCulloch, Ronnie Adkerson, Ralph Comer and Howerd Hewgley.
Honorary pallbearers were Clyde F. Murphy, Bobby Gene Murphy, the Jefferson Springs Juniors and the Staff of Peachtree Nursing Home.
James Buford Word
Services for Mr. Word will be noon, Tuesday, Sept. 2 at Hamilton Chapel United Methodist Chuch with Pastor Robert Spickard Sr officiating and Pastor Belita McMurray-Fite delivering the eulogy. Interment will be in the Word Family Site at Gladeville Cemetery on Odum Lane.
Mr. Word, 70, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at University Medical Center. He was preceded in death by parents, Elizabeth Maude and James Horace Word; brother, Howard McKinley Word; and step-son, Johnny Ray Maynard.
Survivors include: wife, Nannie Mae Word; sisters, Mary A. Word Baugh, Martha L. Word Buford, Elizabeth Magdalene Burns, all of Mt. Juliet, and Connie (Judge) Thomas of Nashville; uncles, Edward Word of Lebanon and Ike Word of Detroit; aunts, Margie Davis of Nashville and Betty Batts of Murfreesboro; nieces, Tonya Renee Burns of Mt. Juliet, and Ramika Latasha Buford of Lavergne; nephews, Darrell Thomas (Tametha) Word of LaVergne, William Eric Word of Mt. Juliet, andRaeffel Antwain Grant of Hermitage; great-nieces, DeAndrea Renee and Breanna Jenae of Mt. Juliet, Brittany Iesha Butler of Mt. Juliet, Corintha Mechille Thomas, Tomiah Elizabeth Thomas of Nashville; great-nephews Alexander Judge Thomas of Nashville, Xavier of Mt.
