Sara Nelle Turner King

Services for Mrs. King will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 at Ligon and Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Tramel and Rev. Brad Brandon officiating. Internment will be at the Neal Cemetery in Watertown.Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday and noon until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. King, 82, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008 at the Cedars Health Care in Lebanon. Born June 21, 1926 in Wilson County, Tenn., she was a homemaker and a member of the Shop Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Marcellus and Lalla Augusta Smith Turner; her husband of 58 years, Robert Walter King; sister, Martha Johnson; and brother, Charles Turner. Survivors include three children, Robert "Bob" (Susan) King, Charles W. King and Janet Brewington, all of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Blake (Heidi) King, Amber (Austin) Burton, Shelly (Scott) Satterfield, all of Lebanon and Brandy King of Santa Monica, CA; nine great grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers include Deacons of Shop Springs Baptist Church, Gene Farley, Jim Van Sickle, Kenneth and Phillip Underood. Active pallbearers include John Turner, Tommy Turner, Jimmy Johnson, Austin Burton, Scott Satterfield, Blake King and Tom Means.

Memorials may be made to the Shop Springs Baptist Church Building Fund or to the American Cancer Society.

Virginia Ingram Williams

Services for Mrs. Williams will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 at Ligon and Bob Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Trice officiating. Internment will be in the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Tuesday until service time.

Mrs. Williams, 93, of the Norene Community, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008 at Quality Care Nursing Home. Born in Rutherford County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Fall Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Ida Vaughter Ingrm; her husbands, Aubrey Howse and Marvin Williams; three brothers, Jack, Dude and Howard Ingram; two sisters, Elsie Barrett and Margaret Floyd. Survivors include a sister, Francis Davis of Murfreesboro; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Phillip Wayne VanHook

Services for Mr. VanHook will be 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29 at Ligon nd Bob Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Denton officiating. Internment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time.

Mr. VanHook, 59, of Hartsville, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 at Hendersonville Medical Center. Born in Wilson County on August 26, 1949, he was a 1967 graduate of Lebanon High School and served in both the U. S. Air Force and the U. S. Navy during Vietnam and Operation Desert Storm. He retired from the Navy with 21 years service. He was employed by South Tech in Lebanon and attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Marion VanHook. Survivors include his wife, Linda Stacey VanHook; mother, Willa Dean Ogle VanHook of Lebanon; two stepchildren, Kim (Rob) Dell'Agnese of Donelson; Darren Danforth of Antioch; two step grandchildren, Drew Binkley and John Dell'Agnese; sister, Sylvia (Eddie) Fields of Lebanon; uncle, Jr. (Liz) Ogle of Lebanon; aunt, Christine Rogers of Lebanon; niece, Denise Fields of Lebanon.

Pallbearers include Eddie Fields, Mackie Fields, Pat Patterson, Brian Patterson, Crockett Carr, and James Driver. Honorary pallbearers include Jr. Ogle and Wayne Hackett.

Joseph Taylor Neely

No services are planned at this time for Mr. Neely.

Mr. Neely, 77, of Goodlettsville, TN died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 at Comprehensive Care Center in Hartsville, TN from Alzheimer's Disease. His remains were cremated.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Neely of Goodlettsville; son, Michael (Brandy) Neely of Lebanon; three step children, Kyle Leath, Matthew Swallows and Cody Adams; two step great-grandchildren, Slade and Eli Swallows, sister, Gladys Smith of Goodlettsville; several nieces and nephews.
