Ronald O. Hallsted
Mr. Hallsted, 59, of Chadron, passed away at his home. He was born in Rome, Ga., to Leonard & Eloise Hallsted. The Hallsted family moved to Chadron, Neb., July 1959. Ron attended Chadron Public Schools and Chadron State College. He enlisted into the United States Navy Aug. 19, 1968 and received an Honorable discharge Aug. 18, 1972. He married Sue Simcho of Omaha in October 1975. He was employed with Ozark Airlines and TWA Airlines for many years. Most recently he was owner operator of Hapâ€™s Lock and Key in Chadron.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Eloise; sister, Phyllis Hallsted; daughter, Jennifer Hallsted and one grandchild. Survivors include daughters, Angie (Carlos) Cruzhurtado of Omaha, Nicole (Andy) Preuss of Olympia Wash., and Shelly (Dan) Giliberto of Everett, Wash.; wife, Sue Simcho of Omaha; brother, Hap Jr. (Martha) and their two children Ryan and Kate of Columbia, Mo.,; aunt, Joy Phillips of Lebanon; uncle, Don (Myrna) Hallsted of Lewellen, Neb., 11 grandchildren and many friends.

Services for Mrs. Holland will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. August Ruff officiating. Interment will be in Holland Family Cemetery in Gladdice, Tenn. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Holland, 58, of Mt. Juliet, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008.
Survivors include: husband, Wayne Holland; daughter, Ashlee (Tim) Chance; grandsons, Noah and Thomas Chance; granddaughter, Abby Chance; sisters, Sue and Jewel Dean; brothers, Buddy, Eddie, Jerry and Roger; sisters-in-law, Kathy and Jennifer Holland; brother-in-law, Rand Holland; and nephew, Brandon Holland.
Beverly Frakes Dillingham Smith
Services for Mrs. Smith were Monday, Sept. 8 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Dozier officiating. Interment was in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Smith, 68, of Mt. Juliet, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008. She was a member of Laguardo Baptist Church and retired from UPS with 15 years of service.
She was preceded in death by parents, Bryson and Sue Frakes; brother, Gary Frakes; and husband, Benton Smith. Survivors include: children, Suzanne White, Randy (Lisa) Dillingham, Jackie (Alan) Russell and Brian (April) Dillingham; brother, Donald Frakes; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
