Mark Baker
Services for Mr. Baker will be Monday, Jan. 28 at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Home with Bros. Matt Long and Charles Baker officiating. Interment will be in Brush Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Baker, 57, of Brush Creek, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 at St. Thomas Hospital. He was self employed and operated Brush Creek Fine Art and Framing.
He was preceded in death by parents, Annie June Nixon and Billy Love Baker; and sisters, Lydia June and Joy Love Baker. Survivors include: sons, Cody (Ashley) Baker of Brush Creek, Luke Baker of Hermitage, Shawn (Rachel) Baker of Lebanon and Shane Baker of Nashville; and grandchildren, Nikki, Jacob, Todd and Brandon Baker.
Jack Hudson Grandstaff
Services for Mr. Grandstaff will be 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28 at Hunter Funeral Home with the Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Grandstaff, 71, of Alexandria, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 at Quality Care Health Center. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, a car salesman and operated a salvage store.
He was preceded in death by mother, Ruth Green Grandstaff; son, Jackie Grandstaff; brother, Jerry Grandstaff; great-granddaughter, Shaelynn Linon; and step-daughter, Kimberly Collier. Survivors include: children, Debbie (Gary) Jones, Jan (Mike) Grandstaff Dykes and Kim (Lonnie) Sadler, all of Lebanon; father, Elbert Grandstaff of Alexandria; grandchildren, Gary (Melissa) and Melanie Jones, Jacquelynn (Chris) Linton, Hunt and Brittany Stutts and Leslie Sadler; great-grandchildren, Chase, Branden and Ashtyen Jones, Anthony Sells, Braelynn Linton and Wyatt Jones; a niece; and three nephews.
Elmira Faye Jones Gray
Services for Mrs. Gray will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Wilson County Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gray, 88, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Thomas C. Gray and Gordon Pittman; parents, Thomas and Luna Jones; infant son, Michael Steven Gray; sisters, Mattie Jones and Beulah Ballew; and brother, Bryant Jones. Survivors include: sons, Gene (Connie) Pittman of Lebanon and Richard (Jene) Gray of Hendersonville; daughter, Rebecca (Charles) Lee of Nashville; grandchildren, David (Latrice) and Jamie (Mandy) Pittman and Tommy Gray, all of Lebanon, Joey Gray of Florida, Brad Gray of Colorado, Tyler, Chris, Stacie and Jennifer Gray, all of Clarksville; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Hailey (David), Jay and Abby (Jamie) Pittman, all of Lebanon, Hailey (Stacey) Gray of Clarksville, Aiden (Joey) Gray of Florida, Emily (Brad) Gray fo Colordao and Caleb, Andrew and Camron Waters of Hendersonville; niece, Bitsy Morris of Ohio; ans sister-in-law, Ann (Wilburn) Whitmore of Georgia.
Kenneth Locke
Mr. Locke, 53, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 at his residence. Services are incomplete.
Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Johnny R. Maynard
Services for Mr. Maynard will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Cedars of Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church with Elds. Gary Owens and Wayne Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon until the service Tuesday at the church.
Mr. Maynard, 54, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008 at University Medical Center.
Survivors include: children, Linda Whitley, Lanika Staffordand Deshalinda Bass; grandchildren, Jamari Whitley and Geearous Hardy; parents, Nannie Mae and James Word of Lebanon; sisters, Janice (Timothy) Jobe, Lena (Rubin Sr.) Brinkley, Linda (Charles) Oldham, Delores Cason, Janice Bowman and Lula (Pertis) Ayers; brothers, Eddie (Carolyn) Maynard, Alphonso (Lakeisha) Maynard, George Robertson and Frankie (Carolyn) Rhone; uncles, Robert (Gwen) Jones, Willie Jones and Sam Jones Jr.; aunts, Pearl Jones, Alice (Michael) Grazes and Annie (Wilton) White; cousin, Jeannie Bratcher; sister-in-law, Carolyn Maynard; close friend, Suzanna Hasty; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family members and friends.
