Camren Ray George
Graveside services for infant George will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Infant George died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008.
Survivors include: mother, Ashley Nicole George; grandparents, Allen (Janice) George; great-grandfather, Joe George; uncles, Russell (Staci) Barrett and Steven George; and aunt, Stephanie Barrett.
Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Homer H. Green
Services for Mr. Green will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Craig Goff and the Rev. Stephen Bryant officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday and noon until the service Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial service in Alcoa is planned for a later date.
Mr. Green, 81, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008. He served in WW II in the Pacific Theater with the U.S. Navy. He was an accomplished woodworker, mechanic and handyman and an active member of American Legion Post 88.
He was preceded in death by parents, John and Vertie Green; mother of his children, Della Jane Carroll Green; brother, John Green Jr.; and sisters, Thelma, Mildred and Edna. Survivors include: wife, Jean Unand Green; sons, Larry (Ellen) and Joel Green; daughters, Conni Martin and Ginger Campton; step-children, Vicky (Wayne) Redden, Paula Filson, and Kert (Kim) Wright; brothers, Walter, Howard (Jo) and Eugene (Ruth) Green; sisters, Ethel Derrick, Frances (John) Pritchard and Helen (Herb) Bell; 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
