Willie Marie Hall

A private graveside service for Mrs. Hall will be held at Grandview Cemetery.

Mrs. Hall, 92 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was born in Vera, Texas in 1915 and was a graduate of Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. She raised her family in Lebanon, where she was active in the medical auxiliary, gardens clubs, and the Baptist Church. She was the National President of the Button Society.

She was preceded in death by husband, Dr. Albert Thomas Hall; father, William McGuire; mother, Della Mae McGuire; sisters, Merlyn Burgess and Doris Harding; brother, Wade McGuire. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth E. and Janie Hall of Knoxville, Ronald L. and Jean Hall of Alcoa, Dr. George A. Hall of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Betsy and Allen Snider of Maryville, Deborah and Neal Oakley of Lebanon; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Haston of Tyler, Texas; brother, Roy McGuire of Loundon, Texas; sisters-in-law, Nell Wilson, Claire Hall of Gonzales, Texas and Catherine Creen of Maryville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gideons International, 324 W. Millers Cove Road, Walland, Tenn. 37886-2620.

McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in Maryville is in charge of arrangements.
Raymond Hamblen

Services for Mr. Hamblen will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 at Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hamblen, 54, of Lebanon, died Monday, April 14, 2008. He was employed by The Lebanon Democrat for 37 years and was a member of Upton Heights Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by father, James Perry Hamblen. Survivors include: mother, Mary Agnes Arnold Neal of Lebanon; siblings, PAtty (Russell) Hamblen of Lebanon, Faye (Jerry) Ogle of Somerville, Ala., Bobby (Sandra) Hamblen and Jackie (Barbara) Arnold of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of The Lebanon Democrat.

Winfred M. "Doc" Reed

Services for Mr. Reed will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 16 at Hermitage Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Grubbs officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Reed, 62, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, April 13, 2008.

Survivors include: wife, Judy Reed; daughters, Lisa (Brian) Hollinsworth and Amy (Michael) Weist; son, Shane (Teresa) Reed; grandchildren, Preston, Shaelyn, and Peyton Reed, Michael III, Aaron and Spencer Weist; brothers, Charlie, Ira, Jimmy, Terry and Kenneth Reed and Clayton Jessie Veach; and sisters, Janice Reed and Darlene Spears.

Pallbearers will be Valarie Padgett, Charlie and Cale Reed, Mike Mohr, Mike Dobrin and Roger Ridgeway.

Emma Tomlinson

Services for Mrs. Tomlinson will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16 in the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Nesbitt officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Tomlinson, 84, of the Providence Community, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Riverview Regional Medical Center. She was a onetime employee of Hartsville Garment and retired from Texas Boot. She attended Athens Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by parents, Booker and Ester Shaffer Wrye; sisters, Mary Ellen Kemp and Elizabeth Wrye; an infant brother; husband, Conway Tomlinson; son, James E. Tomlinson; and daughter, Sarah Shoemake. Survivors include: daughter, Connie (John) Crawford of South Carthage; son, Jerry (Tonya) Tomlinson of the Providence Community; sister, Mable Mofield of Lebanon; seven grandchildren, Jeff and Rex Carver, Stevie and Ethan Tomlinson and Ashley, Sarah and Amy Crawford; and three great-grandchildren.

Elsie Mai Tramel

Services for Mrs. Tramel will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, at Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Owens officiating. Interment will be in Snows Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. until services Wednesday.

Mrs. Tramel, 92, of Alexandria, died Monday, April 14, 2008. She was a member of West Main Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Elizabeth Mullican Vandagriff; her husband, Roscoe Tramel; siblings, Frank, Sam, Clyde, Garlon, Glenn, Vadie, Thelma, Dean, Ala Ray, James and Alene.

Survivors include: a son, Kenneth (Peggy) Tramel of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Paul (Kim) Tramel of Lebanon and Stephanie (Brad) McKeehan of Johnson City; five great-grandchildren, Jillian, Karissa and Hannah Tramel and Colby and Carlie McKeehan; a sister, Robbie (R.H.) Bond of McMinnville; two brothers, Bobby Vandagriff and Boyd Vandagriff of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver, Debbie Brisco.

Louis Dale "Zeke" Ward

Services for Mr. Ward will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 at Hellum Funeral Home with Eld. Keven Ward officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ward, 72, died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Bordeaux Long Term Care in Nashville.

Survivors include: son, Terry F. Woods, Joel (Elda) Ward of Fayetteville, N.C., Elmer Ward of Phoenix, Ariz., Gary (Katie) Ward of Columbia, S.C., Keven (Tamara) Ward of Altus, Okla., Kenneth (Donna) Ward and Christopher M. Ward of Lebanon; daughters, Wanda M. Woods, Karen F. and Cresseda D. Ward, Melody (Ronald) Davis, Gail (Edgar) Horton of Lebanon; sister, Norma (James) Young of Lebanon; brothers-in-law, Joe Corder Jr. and Sanford Collier; sisters-in-law, Dolly (Henry) Cason and Fannie Ward; 22 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
