Sudie Myrtle McQuary

Services for Mrs. McQuary will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at Sellars Funeral Home in Mt. Juliet with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2-8 p.m. Saturday, April 19, and from 10 a.m. until services on Sunday.

Mrs. McQuary, 81, of Mt. Juliet, died Thursday, April 17, 2008.

Survivors include: a son, Doug McQuary of Mt. Juliet; sisters, Emma Corbitt and Christine Johnson of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren, Emily Gayle McQuary of Mt. Juliet, Trey McQuary of Watertown; and a great-grandson, William Logan McQuary of Watertown.

Pallbearers will be Johnie and Jamie Bluhm, Tracey and Jason Ferrell, Kevin McFarland, Doug Flatt, Tim Everett and Kyle Johnson.

Mary Katherine Castleman Sparkman

Services for Mrs. Sparkman will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bros. Harry Middleton, Ralph Brewer and Johny Baker. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sparkman, 86, of Donelson, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008. She was a charter member of Lebanon Road Church of Christ. She graduated from Lebanon High School and David Lipscomb College.

She was preceded in death by parents, Jim and Mary Lou Castleman and husband of 49 years, Alex Patton Sparkman Jr. Survivors include: daughters, Gwyn and Terry Petty of Union City and Denise (Tim) Ledbetter of Old Hickory; grandchildren, Stacie (Kevin) Herrell, Todd (Amy) Petty, Jill (Brian) Page and Shelley (John David) Stout; and great-grandchildren, Matthew and Kyle Herrell and Lexi Petty.

Pallbearers will be Johny Baker, Nelson Cluck, David Cook, Al Cravens, Tony Grigsby, Bobby Pittman, Bill Ross and Tom Vaden. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders and Deacons of Lebanon Road Church of Christ, Jim Oakley, Tom Brown and Harold Wiseman.

John Eugene Yarbrough Sr.

Services for Mr. Yarbrough will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Ligon & Bobo funeral Home with Bro. Forrest Creekmore and Sonia Meador officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Yarbrough, 60, of Gallatin, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008. He was a member of the Baptist church. He retired from the Gallatin TVA plant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Bell and Audrey Lee Fish Yarbrough; two brothers, Paul and Robert Yarbrough; and a sister, Carolyn Yarbrough.

Survivors include: his wife of 43 years, Sue Belcher Yarbrough; two children, Susan Richardson and John E. Yarbrough Jr. of Lebanon; sisters-in-law, Hazel Yarbrough of Lebanon and Mary Dodd of Gallatin; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
