Clemon Brown Chandler

Services for Mr. Chandler will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 1, at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon with Bro. Terry Fessler officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until services Thursday.

Mr. Chandler, 80, died Monday, April 28, 2008.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Kate Johns Chandler; siblings Dorris Hicks, Margie, Vayna and Alice Chandler, Euell and Randall Chandler.

Pallbearers will be Tim, Sammy, Donald, Darrell, L.B., Lloyd and Gilbert Chandler.

Edward L. Burns

Services for Mr. Burns will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at Lebanon Church of God with Eld. Eric Satterfield officiating and Bishop Andrew J. Valentine as eulogist. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Burns, 69, died Sunday, April 27, 2008 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by parents, Eld. Luke and Elizabeth Burns; and sister, Hattie Ann Whitsey. Survivors include: wife, Dorothy L. Burns; daughters, Lachell (Jerome) Stewart and Stephanie Burns; son, Edward (Melinda) Burns Jr.; grandchildren, Eddric, Patrick, Xaviera, Corderius, Malacia, Clarence Jerome II "CJ" and Faedra; great-grandchild, Xa'Kurious Burns; mother-in-law, Mary Dudley; sister-in-law, Shirley (Ross) Sparkman; brothers, Howard (Claudia), William (Beatrice), Stanley (Delores) and Michael (Teresa) Burns; sisters, Mary (Eugene) Leach, Norma (Charles) Cannon, Rose (Leroy) Nevils, Bernice (George) Sanford and Betty (Raymond) Gordon; three aunts; three uncles a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; devoted friends, Buzzie Plemmons and the employees of Network Express Inc. of Lebanon.

Disyal Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Hugh W. Davis

Services for Mr. Davis will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Joe Vickers officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis, 68, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at University Medical Center. He was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, an Army veteran serving as a Specialist 4 and a retired supervisor with Dupont.

He was preceded in death by parents Charles Rhea and Callie Morris Davis; brother, Charles Rhea Davis Jr.; and wife, Fostene Davis. Survivors include: daughters, Dana Davis of Old Hickory and Denise (Jay) Collins of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Herb (Evelyn) Davis of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
Pallbearers will be Herb and Adam Davis, John Vardell, Bob Brumbach, Robert Jenkins, Tommy Meadors, Chuck Miller and James Denney. Honorary pallbearers will be Lebanon High School Class of 1958, Zach Martin, Roy Flanagan, Thomas Davis and Nicholas and Justin Dillard.
