Mary Frances Thompson Coggins
Services for Mrs. Coggins will be noon Wednesday, April 9 at Garden of Prayer Tabernacle with Bishop Alfred Howard officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the service at the church. She worked at Martha Gaston Hospital and Clover Bottom Development Center before retiring in 1985. She served as YPCW president, church secretary, youth choir director and was a member of the 4-way Club. She also served as president of the Pastor's Aide Committee. She was appointed to the Deaconess Board and a Junior Church Mother, and later became Senior Church Mother.
Mrs. Coggins, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Quality Healthcare Center.
She was preceded in death by parents, Tom and Mary Jane Thompson; siblings, Will Apple, Finley, Albert, Charles Ray, Elizabeth, Maggie and Dora Thompson. Survivors include: daughters, Carla Yolander Coggins and Mary Arlene (Bobby) Moore; grandchildren, Ja'Rob, Jeremy, and Jac'KetaCoggins and Carlatha and Jason Waters; great-grandchildren, Ajah and Jer'myzio Coggins and Mauriciona Freeman; step-sister, Lelia Ballenger; godchildren, Charles L. Smith, Jeremiah Vantrease, Stevie Saddler, Christopher Cantrell, Jessica Bates and Christiana Rogers; god-grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Jawilliameze "Sumo" Jennings and Jaylyn Cantrell; sisters-in-law, Mother Siddle Mai Carter and Ruby Thompson; and friends, Mother Willa Ross, Missionary Mary Anthony, Mother Mary Jackson, Sis. Norma Young, Mother Thelma Shockley and Dolly Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Truman Lawrence Garrett
Services for Mr. Garrett will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bros. Glenn Pritchett and Michael Grooms officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Garrett, 80, of Lebanon, died Sunday, April 6, 2008 at his residence. He was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ. He retired from the City of Lebanon with 42 years of service,most of those with the Lebanon Water Department.
He was preceded in death by parents, Lawrence Jackson and Rosie Smith Garrett; wife of 63 years, Charlotte Alean Hankins Garrett; son, Jimmy Lawrence Garrett; great-grandson, Weston Hunter Greer; sisters, Frances Winfree and Geneva Filson; and brothers, Thurman, Warren "Boss," Cordell and Clovis Garrett. Survivors include: daughter, Charlotte Faye (Riley) Greer of Hartsville; daughter-in-law, Pat Garrett of Lebanon; grandsons, Stephen (Tammy) Greer of Valdosta, Ga., Jason (Allison) and Scott (Kendra) Greer and Rodney Garrett, all of Lebanon; great-grandsons, Ethan, Bryson, Mason, Dylan and Mitchell Greer and Austin Garrett; step-great-grandchildren, Kendall and Cameron Parker; and friends, Charlotte Holman and Nola Garrett of Lebanon.
Pallbearers will be Scott, Rodney, Austin and Clovis Garrett Jr., and Dylan, Mitchell, Stephen, Jason, Ethan and Bryson Greer. Honorary pallbearers will nieces and nephews, City of Lebanon retirees and employees of the water plant, and Clayton Hulse.
Claudia Ann Gilbert
Services for Mrs. Gilbert will be 7 p.m.Wednesday, April 9 at First Baptist Church Hopewell in Old Hickory with the Revs. Kenneth Forte and Walter Phillips Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thursday. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Gilbert, 52, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Skyline Medical Center.
Survivors include: husband, Jerry Gilbert; daughters, Maquita and Christina Gilbert; granddaughters, Radiah Gilbert and Cianna Bender; grandson, Isaac Gilbert; sister, Cynthia Ford; brothers, Timothy and Jeffrey (Tracy) Ford; sisters-in-law, Emma (Willie) Blount and Sarah (John) Franklin; brothers-in-law, Aaron (Dorothy) Gilbert and Samuel (Carolyn) Gilbert; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Thomas L. Hendrix
Services for Mr. Hendrix will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. August Ruff officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hendrix, 81, died Sunday, April 6, 2008. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by parents, Richard and Fannie Belle Hendrix. Survivors include: wife of 60 years, Mary Hazel Hendrix; children, Gail Hendrix Starrett of Donelson, Bill (Rebecca) Hendrix of Nashville, Sandra Hendrix Anderson of Gordonsville and Barbara Hendrix Johnson of Gordonsville; sisters, Mary Glenn of College Grove, Irene (John) Pipkin of Columbia and Elizabeth Howell of Franklin; grandchildren raised by Mr. and Mrs. Hendrix, Adam Hendrix and Christy McCrary King; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Louderback, 68, of Lebanon and formerly of Gallatin, died Sunday, April 6, 2008 at University Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by parents, Dennis Summers and Susie Dickerson Arterburn; husbands, James Lewis McCormack and Robert Louderback; brother, Joe Summers; and sister, Laura Ruth Watkins. survivors include: fiance, Bobby Hall of Lebanon; daughters, Phyllis Ladue of Wyoming, Cindy Williams of Castalian Springs, Stacie Dobbs of Gallatin, and Tracie Pedigo (Keith) of Gallatin; sons, Tim McCormack of California and Patrick McCormack of Wyoming; grandchildren, Jamie and Kellie Williams, Cody Ladue, Timmy and Dalen McCormack; Courtney and Jacob Dobbs, and Jared Pedigo; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Wayne and Tabbie Burton Maynard; stepson, Jimmy Bogle; sisters, Louise (Grady) Forkum and Margaret Maynard; nephew, James (Dink) Barry; and brothers-in-law, Bill Parker and Bob Billingsley. Shirley Thelma Whited
Graveside services for Mrs. Whited will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 8 at Willow Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service Tuesday at Anthony Funeral Home.
Mrs. Whited, 62, of Lebanon, died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at her residence.
Survivors include: husband, Mack Whited of Lebanon; sons, Bobby Coker of Smith County and Jerry (Sharon) Coker of Carthage; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; brother, Frank (Betty) Forkum of Lebanon; and sisters, Sally Jo Christian of Knoxville and Bonnie Jean Young of Crossville.
Alvin Lloyd Yeagle
Mr. Yeagle, 72, died Saturday, April 5, 2008, at his residence.
Survivors include: his wife, Roberta Draver Yeagle of Lebanon; three sons, Alvin Yeagle Jr., David Yeagle and Kenneth Yeagle, all of New Jersey; 15 grandchildren, Kevin, Brian, Kristen, Matthew, Charlene, Justin, Jackie, Raegan, Melissa, Susan, Kristina, Glenn, Supreeya, Robin and Theresa Yeagle; and numerous great-grandchildren.
