Services for Mr. Palmer will be noon Saturday, August 4 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lebanon with Rev. David Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the service at the church.
Survivors include: sons, Brian Keith (Ginger) Palmer of Murfreesboro and Michael Palmer of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, McKinzie, Gavin, and McKenna Palmer; step-children, Benita (Abe) Jenkins of Chicago, Ill. and Gary (Valerie) Jenkins of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Adolphus Palmer of Hartsville; sisters, Fannie Dirkson Lester of Austin, Texas, Esther McCoy of Detroit, Mich., Nina (Eddie) Gragg of Nashville, Jennie Palmer of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Josie Jarrett of Springfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Disyal Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Arthur Lee Ramsdell
Services for Mr. Ramsdell will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 3 at Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Interment with military honors will be in Okolona Cemetery in Rickman. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Ramsdell, 75, of Livingston, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at St. Thomas Hospital. He was born in Marble, Texas the son of the ate Arthur Lee Sr. and Marie Ann Kocurek Ramsdell. He was a meteorologist for the National Weather Service, a member of the Methodist Church and an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include: wife, Bobbie Warden Ramsdell; son, Rick Qualls of Lebanon; daughters, Teresa Dulworth and Jo Anne Keen, both of Celina, Tenn.; granddaughters, Mallory, Danielle and Dee Qualls, all of Lebanon; sister, Myrt Townsend of Dallas, Texas; and nephews, John and Chuck Fuller, both of Dallas.
