Barbara Allen Baugus

Memorial services for Ms. Baugus will be 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Roger Smith officiating. Interment will be in Conatser Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Baugus, 60, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007 at Baptist Select Specialty Hospital. She was a DeKalb County native, a homemaker and member of the Bellwood House of Prayer.

She was preceded in death by parents, John William Robert and Minnie Belle Stockling Montgomery and sister, Stella Gardner. Survivors include: daughter, Jennifer Wiles; grandson, Jeffery Wiles; brother Ray Montgomery; and sister, Polly Dishman, all of Lebanon.

James “Steve” Carr

Services for Mr. Carr will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel with Pastor Michael Christian officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday.

Mr. Carr, 45, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007. A graduate of Cookeville High School, he attended Belmont University and Tennessee Tech and was a member of Fairview Church. He was a national sales coordinator with FRHAM Safety Products, was the past president Nuclear Supplier Association and the 2005 winner of the Arthur F. Humm Jr. Award for the National Register of Radiation Protection Technologists. He was preceded in death by mother-in-law Mary Belcher; and grandparents Cecil and Lera Brown and Gertis Sr. and Una Carr.

Survivors include: wife Donna Carr; daughter Julia Carr; son Corey Steakley; parents Gertis Jr. and Jo Carr of Cookeville; sister Debby (Don) Prince of Cookeville; nephew Eli Prince; and in-laws Pete and Ruth Belcher.

Pallbearers will be Perry Throckmorton, Mike Evans, Greg Stewart, Jimmy Jones, Trey Estes, Bobby Harper, Eli Prince and Corey Steakley.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Country K-9 Rescue, 116 Rocky Road, Lebanon, TN 37087.

Albert Donald Mullinix

Services for Mr. Mullinix will be Saturday, Aug. 25 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home in Peru, Ind. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.

Mr. Mullinix, 79, of Mt. Juliet and formerly of Peru, Ind., died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007. He was the son of the late Floyd and Elizabeth Donaldson Mullinix. He worked for Wabash Railroad until 1988. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Survivors include: wife of 59 years, Sara Snyder Mullinix; children, Joyce Allen and Jerry Mullinix; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Bond Memorial Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.

Bridget Ryan Schroeder

Memorial services for Mrs. Schroeder will be 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 at Chesnut Mound United Methodist Church with Bro. Jeff Cotterman officiating. Interment will be in Dublin Cemetery in Dublin, Ireland.

Mrs. Schroeder, 90, of Cookeville and long time resident of Lake Worth, Fla., died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born in Ireland, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Power Ryan. She became a U.S. citizen in 1949. She served as president of the Lake Worth Women’s American Legion, president and founder of the Junior Lake Worth American Legion, and president of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Guild, Lake Worth Civic Council and Lake Worth Playhouse Guild.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Lester Schroeder; and sister, Madeline Tracy. Survivors include: children, Ann Marie Lauer, Patrick Lester Schroeder and Florence Downs, all of Florida and Sarah (Thomas) Wheeler of Elmwood, Tenn.; sisters, Nancy Gaugh, Peggy Dorman and Lena Boylan; brother, Peter Ryan, all of Ireland; grandchildren, Keri Anne and Stephen Lester Schroeder, Robby, Mark and Kelly Anne Downs, Debbie and Ray Lauer Jr., Lisa Richardson, and Robert and Christopher Marcie; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Dakota, Bradley, Keaton, and Ashton Laier, Caleb and Christy Richardson, Shawn and Kieran Marcie and Austin Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association of Middle Tennessee, 1915 Glen Echo Rd., Nashville.
