Sarah Hurst Pluister Barrett
Services for Mrs. Barrett will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 4 at Robinon Funeral Home in West Point, Miss. Interment will be in West Point Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Barrett, 79, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007.
She was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Eleanor Hurst; brother, Jim Hurst; and husband, Neal Pluister. Survivors include: husband, Jack Barrett; daughters, Eleanor (Hester) Gibbs of Lebanon and Sarah Jo (James) Hendrix of DeKalb, Miss.; grandchildren, Chuck Millsaps, Cidny Bobo, Glenda Aust, all of DeKalb, Lessie Belk and Tom Goode Jr., both of Oxford, Miss., and Michael Goode of Jackson, Miss.; great-grandchildren, Brandi, Megan and Dakota Aust, Dillion, Jenna and Leah Bobo, Will and John Michael Belk, and Chase and Chandler Goode; and sister-in-law, Mary Carolyn (Curtis) Lewellen of Amory, Miss.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Millsaps, Tom Jr. and Michael Goode, Will, John Michael and Frank Belk, and Jack Bobo.
Sellars Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Betty Sue Christian
Graveside services for Mrs. Christian will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 4 at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at Partlow Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Christian, 69, of Lebanon, died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at her residence. She was a retired textile worker with Lebanon Woolen Mills and a member of Southside Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Jasper Sr. and Elmer Spencer Wauford and husband, William Claude Christian. Survivors include: sons, Michael Sam (Pinky) Murphy and Mark Christian; daughter, Debra (Wayne) Brown; brother, Jasper Wauford Jr.; grandchildren, Chasity and Chelsey Christian, and Christina, Kyle and Kevin Murphy; and great-grandchildren, Brant Barrett and Avery Smith.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Peter Alfred Mecher Sr.
Memorial services for Mr. Mecher will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 4 at Sellars Funeral Home with Chaplain Isabel Campbell officiating.
Mr. Mecher, 71, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007. He was a retired Tech Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by parents, Peter Paul and Helen Stevens Mecher; brother, Michael Mecher; and best friend Ernie Willows. Survivors include: wife of 50 years, Anita Mecher; children, Peter (Rhonda) Jr. and Terry Mecher, and Melanie (Nicholas) Villiard; grandchildren, Joshua Mecher, Kevin (Leanne) and Sara Feldt, and Anthony Hemmelgarn; siblings, Richard (Pat) Stevens, Billy Mecher, Beatrice (Tony) Nardone, and Christine Cole; great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kaylie Feldt, Aaliyah Dowell and L.J. Clemmons.

Pallbearers will be Terry AShe, Robert Bryan, Greg Lasater, Jason Burns, Nicholas Villard and Rick Cozby. Honorary pallbearer will be Otis Hayes.
Services for Mrs. Kittrell will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 4 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Dr. Ken Clayton officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and one hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kittrell, 44, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, July 31, 2007.
She was preceded in death by son, Bryson Maynard. Survivors include: husband, Jeff Kittrell; daughters, Kristen (Scott) Thorbjornsen and Autumn Maynard; son, Michael Kittrell; three grandchildren; parents, Bob and Gail Farley; a sister; and a brother.
