Services for Mr. Chaophasy will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with the Buddhist Monks officiating. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Chaophasy, 40, of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008 at his residence. He was born in Laos. He was a technician at Nissan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chansamouth Chaophasy. Survivors include: wife, Deborah "Debi" Chaophasy formerly of Watertown; daughters, Carra Kaitlyn Chaophasy and Jaden Murphy Chaophasy of Murfreesboro; son, Nicholas Patana Chaophasy of Murfreesboro; mother, Phongsavanh Chaophasy of Murfreesboro; brother, Sourithavon Chaophasy of Murfreesboro; father- and mother-in-law, Royce and Jeanette Murphy of Watertown.
Annie Louise Clemmons
Services for Mrs. Clemmons will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20 at Rutland Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Southall officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. She will lie in state from 11 a.m.-noon with visitation from noon until the service at the church.
Mrs. Clemmons, 88, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Dec.14, 2008 at her residence.
Survivors include: children, Joe Lee (Mary Ann) and Andrew Clemmons, Grace Robinson and Earlene (William) Scruggs; foster daughter, Evelyn Houston; grandchildren, Geoffrey, Tonya, Alicia (David), Andrew Jr., Lynetta (Thomas), Kevin (Leonora), Carmeta, Zachary (Leaverne), William (Nikeisha), Sharonda and Chris; and other family and friends.
Hellum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
J.C. Fisher Sr.
Services for Mr. Fisher will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20 at Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Watson officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Fisher, 82, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2008. He served in the US Army in WWII, attended the Philadelphia Church of Christ, and was a member of the Real Estate Investors of Nashville. As a building contractor, he built, among other projects, a hospital in Israel.
He was preceded in death by parents, George Monroe and Beulah Maynard Fisher; son, Jay Fisher; grandson, J. C. â€œJustinâ€ Fisher Jr.; and brothers, James Roby, Dillard, and Valous Fisher.
Survivors include: wife of 62 years, Mary Walker Fisher of Lebanon; children, Glenda (James) Van Norman and Brenda (Tom Hall) Fisher; siblings, Harley Fisher of Murfreesboro and Louise (Marvin) Bains of Lebanon; grandchildren, Richard (Melissa) Griffin, Anthony (Amanda) Griffin, Kevin (Christy) McNerney, and Charles (Jamie) Garrison; Crystal Griffin and eight other great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Lebanon Senior Center.
William Haskell Johnson Sr.
Services for Mr. Johnson will be 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Gregory officiating. Interment will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Friday.
Mr. Johnson, 75, of Hartsville, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at his residence. He was a retired roofer and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter; grandson, John Kilzer; great-grandson, Michael Ryan Crenshaw and parents, Thomas Eldridge Johnson and Angie Lee Wilkerson Johnson.
Survivors include: wife, Dolores Warren Johnson of Hartsville; children, William H. Johnson Jr., Michael Andrew (Peggy) Johnson Sr., of Hartsville, Nelda Ruth (Rick) Dixon, of Goodlettsville, Jeffrey Alan (Shirley) Johnson Sr., of Hartsville, and Phillip Wayne (Julie) Johnson, of Hartsville; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Lee Johnson, of Lafayette, Ernest (Mary) Johnson, of Kentucky, Albert (Betty) Johnson, of White Bluff, James (Faye) Johnson, of Hartsville, and Jessie (Margie) Johnson, of Seven Springs, N.C., and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
