Services for Mr. Blackburn will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Gordsonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Home with Bro. Dickie Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Brush Creek Memorial Gardens with Bro. Floyd Massey officiating. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. until services on Wednesday.
Mr. Blackburn, 65, of New Middleton, Tenn., died Monday, Feb. 11, 2008. He was a 1960 graduate of Gordonsville High School where he lettered in three sports. He drove a Grade A bulk milk truck for 30 years and retired in 1998.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Peggy Angel Blackburn of New Middleton; two daughters, Angela (Joe) Bates of New Middleton and Jennifer (Joey) Lloyd of Lebanon; a son, Ken (Laura) Blackburn of New Middleton; grandchildren, Lexi Bates, Luke and Rebecca Blackburn, Danielle Lloyd; sisters, Peggy Sykes of New Middleton, Josephine (Eugene) Taylor of New Middleton and Barbara (Jack) Hale of Watertown; a brother, Richard (Sharon) Blackburn of Louisville, Tenn.; and a mother-in-law, Katherine Sutton of Lebanon.
Memorials may be made to the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.
Mr. Crawford, 86, of Mt. Juliet, died February 11, 2008, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Bond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Gene A. Graves
Services for Mr. Graves will be noon Wednesday, Feb. 13 at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Darrell Brasswell officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Graves, 79, of White House, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008.
He was preceded in death by wife, Lillie Ann Graves. Survivors include: sons, John, William (Sandra) and Ronald (Joyce) Graves; daughters, Donna (John) Hughes and Dorri (Glenn) Corley; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Acie Winford McFarland
Services for Mr. McFarland will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13 at Hellum Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert H. McFarland officiating. Interment will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. McFarland, 56, of Nashville, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 at his residence.
Survivors include: daughter, Angelic McFarland of Lebanon; father, Acie L. McFarland; sisters, Barbara Hogan, Wanda Claybrooks, and Alice Waters; brother, Terry L. McFarland, all of Nashville; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
