Gloria Jean Atchley
Services for Mrs. Atchley will be 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Dandridge with the Revs. Larry DeVault and Bob Emmert officiating. Interment and graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Atchley, 80, of Dandridge and formerly of Lebanon, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008 at her residence. She was a member of Dandridge First United Methodist Church and was a past president of the United Methodist women.
She was preceded in death by parents, Gene and Inez Weatherby; husband, Jeff D. Atchley; and sister, Betty Davis. Survivors include: daughters, Tina (Greg) Frizell of Tell City, Ind. and Mary (Joe) Hadden of Morristown, Tenn.; son, Terry (Tisha) Igou of Dandridge; and grandchildren, John Payne, Jenny Lee Barrett, Josh, Joe and Ben Igou, Rebecca Hadden Wise and John and Joe Ralston Hadden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Dandridge First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8, Dandridge, Tenn., 37725.
Helen Marie Thornhill Bright
Services for Mrs. Bright will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at Central Pike Church of Christ with Bro. John Miller officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at Hermitage Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bright, 87, of Hermitage, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008.
She was preceded in death by husband, J.B. Bright and son, Jimmy Bright.
Survivors include: son, Clyde Bright; adopted son, Pete Peterson; daughters-in-law, Paula Banner and Wanda Bright; granddaughter, Kathy Kincaid; grandsons, Troy, Benjamin (Tammy) and Jason (Heather) Bright; great-grandchildren, Braden, Aubery, Willow, Eric, Scott, and Hailee; brothers, Robert Dennis and Nick (Elizabeth) Thornhill; sister, Helen Wright; and sister-in-law, Marie Lowe.
Elnora Bryant McClure
Services for Mrs. McClure will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Corona First Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy C. Bryant as eulogist and the Rev. Bobby Sanders officiating. Interment will be in Bryant Memorial Gardens. Mrs. McClure's remains will lie in state Saturday from 11 a.m. until noon. Family visitation will be noon to 1 p.m.
Mrs. McClure, 86, of Mt. Juliet, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at Summit Medical Center.
Survivors include: her children, Aniece McClure of Silver Springs, Md. and Harrelius (Melody) McClure of Mt. Juliet; two granddaughters, Macey and Sydney McClure; a sister, Greely (Atha) Westbrook; sisters-in-law, Johnnie Bryant, Susie McClure, Virginia Nobbs and Florence Roberts; brother-in-law Norman Jackson; devoted friend, Rebecca Wooden; and many other relatives and friends.
Phyllis Rhodes Sisco
Services for Ms. Sisco will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Glenn Denton officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and noon until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Ms. Sisco, 70, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008.
She was preceded in death by husband, James Lee Sisco; son, Gary Lee Sisco; and parents, Lloyd and Helen Rhodes. She is survived by daughters, Sherry (Marty) Denton and Sheila (Marcus) Kennedy; and several grandchildren.
Mary Bell Winfree
Services for Mrs. Winfree will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home with Elds. Jimmy White and Charles Allen Gentry officiating. Interment will be in Smith County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Winfree, 86, of Hiwassie, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008. She was born in the Holmes Gap Community. She was a homemaker and member of Knob Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Robert Eddie and Lillian Atwood Webb; husband, Gordon Winfree Sr.; sister, Louise Wilson; and son-in-law, Ray Craig.
Survivors include: children, Becky (Paul) Underhill of Clarksville, Jean Craig of Rome, Junior (Cornelia) Winfree of Plunketts Creek, Bobby (Peggy) Winfree of Flatrock and Charles Winfree of Hartsville; sisters, Ruby Wilson (Eld. Leon) White and Florence Ash, both of Lebanon; brothers, James Webb of New Middleton and Edward (Judith) Webb of Grant; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
