Maxine Eller Beckwith
Services for Mrs. Beckwith will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27 at Gladeville United Methodist Church with the Revs. Charles Walker and Royce Martin officiating. Interment will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until the service at the church.
Mrs. Beckwith, formerly of Gladeville, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009 at NHC Nursing Home in Smithville.
She was preceded in death by parents, Bob and Gracie Eller; and husband, Ted Beckwith Sr.
Survivors include: daughter, Peggy (Ronald) Huffstetler; son, Ted (Beverly) Becwith Jr.; brother, Robert Eller; sister, Barbara Jean Lawson; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Gladeviille UMC building fund, 8770 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Gladeville, 37071.
Odell F. Jackson
Services for Mr. Jackson will be 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bros. Bob Knox, William Hayes, Jim Byrd and Garland Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:30 p.m.-8 p.m. and Friday 11 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Jackson, 79, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009 at University Medical Center. He was a member of Adams Avenue Church of Christ where he served as an elder, employee of Wilson Co. Motors and Toshiba, and served as a preacher for the congregations of Alexandria and Beckwith Churches of Christ.
He was preceded in death by parents, Robert Mason and Estelle Gass Jackson; and daughter, Eugenia Lynn Jackson.
Survivors include: wife of 54 years, Willie Jane Sampson Jackson; daughter, Jana Dell Jackson; sister, Carolyn (Thurman) Manners; brother, Shelah (Bess) Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Collier, Daryl Brown, Clark, Daniel and Randy Sampson, Kyle Wright and Terry and Seth Pritchett. Honorary pallbearers, the men of Adams Ave. Church of Christ.
