Mary Jo Ann Edwards
Services for Mrs. Edwards will be 10 a.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Glenn Denton and Bro. Stanley Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Conatser Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Edwards, 67, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at University Medical Center. She was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father, James William Arbuckle.
Survivors include: mother, Naomi Arbuckle; husband, Clyde R. Edwards; son, Brian(Rhonda) Edwards; daughters, Kathy (Michael) Shoptaw and Karen (Danny) McDonald; sisters, Barbara (Tim) Heston and Janie (Bobby) Edwards; grandchildren, Chris (Caroline) Edwards, Kevin Thompson, Casey Edwards, Rebecca McDonald; great-granddaughter, Daiya Malkou; caregivers, Betsy White and Elizabeth Green.

Lawrence Allen “Daddy-O” Rose
Services for Mr. Rose will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Pastor Michael Christian officiating and music by Pat Acuff and Terry Weeks. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Rose, 68, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at his residence. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a local businessman who owned and operated many Lebanon businesses.
He was preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Francis Rose, infant son, Andrew Allen Rose, and brother-in-law, Hollis Close.
Survivors include: wife of 50 years, Jacqueline Rose; sons, Kevin (Bert) Rose and Allen (Michelle) Rose; sister, Patricia (Roger) Acuff; grandchildren, Jessica (Herb) Scranton, Jacqueline Campbell and Justin, Maddison and Ethan Rose; great-grandchildren, Harley and Ayden “Tatar” Scranton and Madelyn and Maleah Campbell; sister-in-law, Peggy (David) Cook; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Herb Scranton, Kenneth Conner, John Townley, Floyd Wilson, Leroy Watkins and Ronnie Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Acuff, Bill Rose, Sid Paris, Kenneth Paris, Ernest Rose, Tony Rose, Sonny Boyce, Richard Broadhead, Gregg Close, and in remembrance, Bob Paris.

Spc. Michael Lane Stansbery Jr.
Services for Mr. Stansbery will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8, at the gymnasium of Wilson Central High School, 419 Wildcat Way, Lebanon with the Rev. Lee Stevenson and Dr. Kay Gray officiating. Following the service, he will be cremated. His cremated remains will be interred with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Saturday at Bond Memorial Chapel and 12-2 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Central High School.
Mr. Stansbery, 21, of Mt. Juliet, died Friday, July 30, 2010, while serving his country in Kandahar Providence, Afghanistan. He served as an active duty U.S. Army Automated Technical Data System Specialist assigned to Headquarters Battery, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division. His previous assignments include Ft. Sill, Okla., Ft. Carson, Colo. and one tour of duty in Iraq. He was a member of Cooks United Methodist Church. He was a 2007 graduate of Wilson Central High School where he was on the wrestling team and a proud member of the Jr. ROTC.
Survivors include: parents, Michael and Tammy Stansbery; sister, Michelle Stansbery; numerous family members and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gromyko Weir and Jeremy Jernigan.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in honor of Michael to Forgotten Soldiers Outreach, Inc., 3550 23rd Ave. S., Suite No. 7, Lake Worth, Fla. 33461 or www.forgottensoldiers.org.

Roger Lee Williams
Services for Mr. Williams were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, with Jack Justice officiating. Interment was in Morris Family Cemetery in Raccoon Creek, Ky.
Mr. Williams, 63, died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the VA Hospital in Hazard, Ky. He was the son of the late Sylvester and Cynthia Williams.
He was preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Cecil, Donald and Raymond Williams.
Survivors include: wife, Lojean Williams; son, Chad (Betty) Williams of Lebanon and Todd (Rhonda) Williams of Glasgow, Ky.; brother, Jerry (Donna) Williams; sisters, Sue (Roy) Smallwood and Jean (Jack) Shoats; and grandchildren, Jonathan, Jackson, Madeline and Connor.
Thacker Funeral Home in Pikeville., Ky. was in charge of arrangements.
