Reece Edward Duke
Services for Mr. Duke will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Round Lick Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Dorsey and the Rev. Steve Mayle officiating. Interment will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 14, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home and Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.
Mr. Duke, 74, of Watertown, died Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at Alive Hospice at Skyline Madison Campus. He was retired from General Motors Corp. in Parma, Ohio, and a 21 year member of the Round Lick Baptist Church. He was a Senior Adult Coordinator at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Blanchard E. and Ruth Burton Duke.
Survivors include: wife of 31 years, Linda Wilson Duke of Watertown; children, Debbie Rhodes of New Port Richie, Fla., Rhonda (Pat) McMullen of LaGrange, Ohio, Gary (Tammy) Duke of The Colony, Texas, and Tony (Amelia) Duke of Cedar Hill, Tenn.; grandchildren, Zeke (Traci) Overy, Mark Rhodes, Alison McDaniel and Brian McDaniel; great-grandchild, Reece McDaniel; brothers, William Duke and Royce Duke, both of Knoxville and sisters, Margaret Jones of Moorestown, N.J., Ina Searcy of Cookeville, Lou Randolph of Cookeville, Sue Addis of Knoxville, Grace Boyd of Knoxville and Shirley Smith of Toledo, Ohio.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Randy Hugh Mahaffa
Services for Mr. Mahaffa will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Hunter Funeral Home. Interment will be Pleasant Ridge. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 11, from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Mahaffa, 54, of Woodbury, Tenn., died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at his residence. He worked in the contract carpet co. flooring installation.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Randy Mahaffa; parents, Herbert Mahaffa and Margaret Bogle Harvey and brothers, James and Billy Mahaffa.
Survivors include: children, Peggy (Bobby) Hamlet of Watertown, Randell (Stacey) Mahaffa of Carthage and Jeremy (Ashley) Mahaffa of Carthage; grandchildren, Cody, Shelby and Wesley Hamlet, Jonathan Mason, Alexis and Ashley Mahaffa and Colton and Myah Mahaffa and sisters, Joanne (Gerald) Gunter of Fleetwood, N.C. and Helen Dedman of Murfreesboro.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Hugh Doyle Martin
Services for Mr. Martin will be noon Monday, Dec. 14 at Bond Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Speight officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday ending with a Masonic service at 7:30 at the funeral home.
Mr. Martin, 72, of Mt. Juliet, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009. He was a member of the Al Menah Shrine and the Mt. Moriah Lodge No. 18 of Murfreesboro. He was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He was previous owner of Four Corners Boat Dock.
He was preceded in death by parents, Daniel and Gretchen Williamson Martin; son, Hugh Martin II; daughter, Elma Page; and brother, James Martin.
Survivors include: wife, Wilene Wiggins Martin of Mt. Juliet; daughters, Tanya (Terry) Crawford of Mt. Juliet and Renee (Bill) McMurray of Nashville; brother, Bill (Sue) Martin of Clinton, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Gail Martin of Powell, Tenn.; grandchildren, Ashley Bean and Justin and Paige Crawford; and great-grandchild, Seria Bean.
