Ruth Bates Bullard
Services for Mrs. Bullard will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church, with Rev. Poly Rouse officiating. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 14, from 4-8 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bullard, 80, passed away Dec. 12, 2009. She was retired from the State of Tennessee. In her later years Mrs. Bullard was a devoted Mary Kay consultant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Alva Kelley.
Survivors include: children, Richard Harlan Bates, Col. Fred W. Mullins, Randy (Tracy) Bullard, Phillip (Wanda) Bullard; grandchildren, Christina (Mike) Eyster, Meagan Bullard, Kristen (Kevin) Sindorf, Brett Bullard, Michael Mullins, Shelby Lynn Bullard, Morgan Mullins, Jonathan McDonald; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Eyster and one brother, C.F. Kelley (Imogene).
Family and friend will serve as pallbearers.
Irma Ray Glisson England
Services for Mrs. England will be 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Fallin officiating. A private interment will be conducted at Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Tenn. Visitation will be on Monday, from 1-3 p.m.
Mrs. England, 90, of Mt. Juliet, passed away December 12, 2009, at her residence. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet and a member of the former Builder Sunday School Class. She was a member of Harvey Freeman Chapter #181, Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cramer Avnet England, Sr.; son, Cramer Avnet "Buddy" England, Jr.; parents, James Raymond and Gennette Mae Deaton Glisson.
Survivors include: daughter, Betty (Al) Frakes; granddaughter, Lisa Kyle.

S. H. Harkreader, Jr.
Services for Mr. Harkreader will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles L. Walker officiating. Interment will be in Caraway Cemetery in Gladeville. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 14, from 4-8 p.m. at Partlow.
Mr. Harkreader, 92, passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, in the Brandywood Golden Living Center in Gallatin. He was an employee with DuPont and attended the Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvanus H. Sr. and Dora Mae Patterson Harkreader; brothers, Jesse, James and Johnny Harkreader.
Survivors include: sisters, Nannie Lou Brown of Mt. Juliet and Edna Mae Burke of Hermitage; nephews, Edwin (Gertie) Brown, Jim (Diane) Harkreader, Mike Harkreader and Phil (Gin) Burke; niece, Linda Adams; numerous great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jason Harkreader, Ed Burke, Bryan Harkreader, Joe Brown, Bob Brown and Tony Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Smith, Nealand Smith and Trey Harris. John Harvey Jones, Sr.
Services for Mr. Jones will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, with Bro. Bob Curtis officiating. Entombment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 14 from 3-7 p.m. and on Tuesday after 9 a.m.
Mr. Jones, 85, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at the Alvin C. York Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a Baptist. He was an electrician and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Frances Foster Jones; brother, Irie Jones; son-in-law, Jim Wood; grandson, Eric Jones.
Survivors include: wife of 66 years, Sabra McNeely Jones; six children, Shelia Wood of Seneca, S.C., Sharon Moore of Cleveland, Sandra (Armando) Trujilli of Loxahatchee, Fla., John (Gayle) Jones, Jr. of Birmingham, Ala., Jim (Pam) Jones of Lebanon, Selena (Bob) Cunningham of Murfreesboro; sister-in-law, Mary Emma Jones; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Wood, Jason Jackson, Ryan Jones, Kyle Jones, Tony Trujillo and Chris Aytes.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Mr. Marks, 84, of Mt. Juliet, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2009. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and served during World War II in the South Pacific and Iwo Jima. Her was a member of the Leeville Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sampson Bradley Marks and Mahaly Eugenia Thomason Marks; brother, Tolbert Marks.
Survivors include: wife of 64 years, Naomi Pauline "Polly" Marks; sons, Donnie (Donna) Marks of Lebanon and Sam (Sandi) Marks of Mt. Juliet; daughter, Shelia Marks of Nashville; special daughter, Robbie (Bill) Dotson of Springville, Tenn.; sister, Bea McClure; sister-in-law, Ada Ruth Marks; grandchildren, Kristi (Joe) Lindholm, Todd (Susie) Marks, Troy (Ginger) Marks, Brad (Rachelle) Haney, Denise Marks and Lora Nicole Haney; special grandchildren, Wayne (Patsy) Bumbalough and Jeff Bumbalough; great-grandchildren, Brianna Marks, Sarah-Beth Marks, Cody Marks, T. Clyde John Simpson
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Hermitage United Methodist Church, with Rev. Susan Gardner officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Clarksville. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 14, at Bond Memorial Funeral Home, from 5-8 p.m, and one hour prior to service time on Tuesday at the church.
Mr. Simpson, 67, of Mt. Juliet, passed away Dec. 12, 2009. He was a member of Hermitage United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was the maintenance manager for Prestige Printing in Madison, Tenn. for nearly 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde John Simpson, Sr. and Lola Irene Brashaers Simpson; sister, Linda Kay McMillan.
Survivors include: wife, Christine "Chris" Jarratt Simpson; children, Richard (Tami) Simpson, Michael (Kristi) Simpson and Celia (Wayne) Clair; grandchildren, Timothy Simpson, A. J. Carter, Brandon Simpson, Matthew Ellsmore, Tyler Simpson, Savannah Simpson, Michaela Simpson, Michael Simpson, Jr., Wayne Clair, III, Jesse Clair and Cody Clair; great-grandchild, McKenna Simpson.
Active pallbearers will be Al Jarratt, Jr., Gordon Williams, Steve LaSuer, Dan Preston and Michael Bartula. Honorary pallbearers will be the J.P.O.Y. Sunday School Class and the Mid-TN Happy Campers.
