Ruth Johnson Campbell
Services for Mrs. Campbell will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. David Hesson officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Campbell, 92, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 at Smith County Health Care in Carthage. She was the daughter of the late William Robert and Mary Jane Human Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Warren D. Campbell; grandson, Tommy Snyder; and brothers, Gifford, Ben and Ernest Johnson.
Survivors include: son, Ralph (Barbara) Snyder of Nicholasville, Ky.; grandchildren, Jeff, David and Wayne Snyder and Donna Mires; several great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law and caregiver, Pat Johnson of Lebanon.
O. Dwayne Preuett
Services for Mr. Preuett will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Tim Lavender officiating. Interment will be 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21 at Pauley Cemetery in Winthrop, Ark. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Preuett, 69, of Mt. Juliet, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009. He was a member of the Church of Christ, an employee of Channel 5 for 29 years and worked at Tractor Supply Company after his retirement.
He was preceded in death by parents, Cecil Manning and Beulah Erma Bayless Preuett.
Survivors include: wife, Wanda Fay Preuett; daughters, Sharon (Andrew) Queener and Treva (Darrell) Rice; brother, Roy Ladon (Carol Sue) Preuett; grandchildren, Amber, Devon, Blake, Jessica and Aleecia; and great-grandchildren, Destiny and Ryleigh.
Genevieve Catherine Thoma Schade
A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Schade will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Father Zacharias Payikat officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in the Corpus Christie Cemetery in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel with a Rosary to be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel. Father Michael O’Brien will officiate.
Mrs. Schade, 96, of Lebanon, passed away at her residence Monday, Dec. 14, 2009. She was a homemaker, farmer and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Christopher and Freda Fix Thoma; husband, Lester C. Schade; grandson, Mark P. White; brothers, Arthur, William and Herbert Thoma; and sister, Mary Thoma Milefchik.
Survivors include: son, Bennie (Sarah) Schade of Lebanon; daughters, Linda(Richard) White of Lebanon, Sheryl (Dennis) Hanrahan of La Habra, Calif. and Karen (William) Christensen of Toledo, Iowa; grandchildren, Jenni (Brian) Jones, Lisa White, John (Eve) White, Jolie (Tony) Britt, Gary (Andrea) Hanrahan, Shelly(Michael) Hansen, Todd (Jessica) Schade; great-grandchildren, Emily, Heather and Nicole Jones, Veronica, Logan, Genevieve Grace White, Alex, Mark, Evan and Aiden Britt, Emily and Elise Hanrahan, Hailey, Micah and Madelyn Hansen, Avery Goulding and Sophia Genevieve Schade.
