Wilma Ray Batey
Services for Mrs. Batey will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Hunter Funeral Home with the Bro. Roger Grisham officiating. Interment will be in Hillview Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 24, from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Batey, 67, of Watertown, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at her residence. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ova Jay Bain; sister, Linda Parrish and brother, Roy Dale Bain.
Survivors include: husband of 51 years, Billy Anderson Batey of Watertown; mother, Martha Jennings of Lebanon; brother, Larry (Cassie) Bain of Lebanon; sons, Billy (Tracy) Batey of Watertown, Dean (Cindee) Batey of Manchester and Joe Batey of Watertown; daughter, Sissy (Jimmy) Cozart of Statesville; grandchildren, Kezney, Kaitlin, Danielle, Brandy, Josh and Zachary Batey, Jan Cozart and Heather Johnson; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Logan, Swanson, Kenya, Jordan and Carley Batey; special nieces, Janet Presley and Melanie Young and other nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice for their care.

Daniel Ray Highers
Memorial Services for Mr. Highers will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 in the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with L. E. Speck officiating.
Mr. Highers, 57, of Crossville, passed away Feb. 19, 2010 at Wyndridge Health and Rehab Center. He was born to Raymond and Jimmie Lee Speck Highers in Toledo, Ohio. He served in the United States Army and before retiring he worked as a Warehouse Inspector/ Maintenance. He was of Baptist faith and was a member of the Woodbury Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by father, Raymond Highers.
Survivors include: wife, Sheila Miller Highers of Woodbury; mother and step-father, Jimmie Lee and Ed Denny of Lebanon; daughter, Ashlee Highers; grandchildren, Shane and Brayden Highers of Cookeville; brothers, Terry Micheal (Linda) Highers of Smithville and James Earl (Sherry) Petty of Dallas, Texas; and sister, Sandra (Roger) Coffman of Huntsville, Ala.
