Vivian O. Mitchell Anderson
Services for Mrs. Anderson will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Carver and Chaplain Paul Gunn officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Bond Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Anderson, of Mt. Juliet, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010. She was born at home near Riley, Miss. and played piano for Concord Baptist Church. She taught high school business courses. After moving to Tennessee, she was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet, where she served as VBS teacher, Sunday School teacher and in various other callings over the years. Mrs. Anderson retired from teaching after 36 years. She taught mainly in the Wilson County School System at Mt. Juliet, West and Southside Schools. She served on the PTO in Mt. Juliet and Lebanon, the Wilson County Magistrate for one term and the Codes Committee for the City of Mt. Juliet. During these busy years she still found time to be an excellent seamstress for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Elora Labearre Mitchell; brother, James Mitchell; sister, Lynette Johnson.
Survivors include: husband of 65 years, Corbett William Anderson; children, Lawrence (Linda) Anderson, Randy (Kim) Anderson and Regina (Danny) Baker; brother, William Ira Mitchell; sister, Valca Cook; grandchildren, Brook (Aaron) Leasure, Chris (Natalie) Anderson, Rachel (Cortez) Mack, Beth (Clay) Hullett and Michaela Anderson; six great-grandchildren and many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews in the Mt. Juliet, Tenn. and Riply, Miss. area.
Dan Mitchell, Cortez Mack, Clay Hullett, Chris Anderson, Darrell Crawford, Duane Garrett and Wayne Garrett will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Lyda, Maxine Bell and members of the Wilson County Retired Teachers Association.

Graveside services for Mrs. Hackney will be 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, in the Wilson Co. Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ken Polk officiating. Interment will be in Wilson Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 8, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m in the Partlow Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Hackney, 86, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at NHC Healthcare in Murfreesboro, Tenn. She was a member of Apostolic Ark and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Haskel and Beulah Lee Petty Duke; husband, Briggsy Hackney; brothers, Leon Duke, Odell Duke and James Duke.
Survivors include: son, Dwight (Rillis) Hackney of Murfreesboro; sister, Rudy Tisdale of Lebanon; grandchildren, Chris (Kim) Hackney, Tracey (Larry) Howse, Jamie (Julie) Hackney; great-grandchildren, Taylor Howse, Brandon Howse, Kenya Hackney, Rancie Herrod and Jaysie Hackney.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made in her memory to the Northside Baptist Church Disaster Relief Fund or Haiti Relief Fund, 655 West Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, Tenn. 37129.

Services for Mrs. McNeill will be held at a later date.
Mrs. McNeill, 79, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at her residence. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and was a retired secretary with United Tile Co.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Othe Lee and Vera Woods Burt; husband, Harold McNeill; one sister and two brothers.
Survivors include: brother, Billy (Martha) Burt of Lebanon and Bobby Burt of Ariz.; sister, Margie Wiegand of La.; numberous nieces and nephews and residents of Saddlebrooks Apartments.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 621 Hartsville Pike, Lebanon, Tenn. 37087.
