Rev. Tillman Ray Boren
Services for the Rev. Boren will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Junction Church of God in Finley, Tenn. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 1-3 p.m. at Mt. Juliet Church of God.
Rev. Boren, 60, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at his residence. He was a member of the Church of God in Cleveland, Tenn., and was involved in pastoral work from 1974-2006.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Boren and son, Tillman Alton Boren.
Survivors include: wife of 43 years, Mary Ann Boren; daughters, Angela (Neal) Lewis and Wendy (Don) Smith; daughter-in-law, DeAnne Boren; grandchildren, Amanda Boren, Derek and Cory Young, Tyler Lewis and Lauren and Ethan Smith; father, Alton Boren; sister, Wanda Boren Carroll Sparks of Chickamuga, Ga.; niece; two nephews; special couples, Al and Deborah Jernigan of Finely, Tenn., and Pat and Inna Gibson of Seymour, Tenn; God child, Heather Goodall of Lafayette and many special friends.

Cornelia Cardwell Criswell
Services for Mrs. Criswell will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at Highland Heights Church of Christ, 505 North Cumberland Street. A private interment will be conducted by Partlow Funeral Chapel in Cedar Grove Cemetery with immediate family attending. Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 13, from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. Criswell, 91, of Columbia and Lebanon, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at Rosewood Manor in Columbia. She was one of the founding members of Highland Heights Church of Christ and cared for children in her home for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Criswell; parents, Robert E. and Mattie Woods Cardwell; special aunt and uncle, Willie Woods Rutledge and Howard Rutledge; sister, Allie Bonner, Mary Elmore and Ruth Edmiston and brother, Robert Cardwell.
Survivors include: son, James H. (Marynelle) Criswell of Columbia; grandchildren, Karen Criswell (Stephen) Heard of Canton, Ga., and John Michael Criswell of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Dillon Criswell Heard, Charles Jesse Heard and Gracie Mac Heard of Canton, Ga.; niece, Bobbie Montgomery of Lebanon; nephew, Gene Ligon (Nancy) of Hendersonville; other nieces and nephews and devoted friends, Dayton Jamison of Lebanon, Michael and Stacy Grooms of Lebanon, Tom and Pat Kolby and the members of the "Birthday Club."
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Highland Heights Church of Christ library fund.
A special thanks to Dr. Alexander Badru of Lebanon and Hartsville and the staff at Rosewood Manor in Columbia.

Robert Lewis Flippen
Services for Mr. Flippen will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 at Wilson County Funeral Home with Pastors Leonard Diebold and Charlene Macato officiating. Donnie Kemp will read the eulogy. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. He was an over the road truck driver for 53 years.
Mr. Flippen, 73, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010 at his residence.
Survivors include: wife of 25 years, Alice Flippen; sons, Darryl Flippen of Russellville, Ky. and Troy Flippen of Manchester, Tenn.; daughters, Leigh Truman of Goodlettsville, Cindy Osburn of Lebanon and Lynne Williams of Winder, Ga.; sister, Katherine Bennett of Sewanee, Tenn.; brothers, Jack Flippen of South Carolina and Mark Flippen of Big Sandy, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Wilson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Esble Walton Harper
Funeral services for Mrs. Harper will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11 in the chapel of Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland with Bro. Jimmy Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi, Miss. on Monday, Feb. 15. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harper, 84, of Bethpage, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010 at Memphis Baptist Hospital.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clarence S. and Effie Dyer Walton; first husband, Robert R. Harper; and second husband, Edward Butler.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Survivors include: daughters, Carolyn Dupas of Bethpage, Sandy Slaven of New Orleans, La., Glenda Butler of Bethpage; granddaughter, Cindy Glover of New Orleans; great-granddaughter, Star Glover of New Orleans; and numerous extended family.

Betty Welch
Services for Mrs. Welch will be noon Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Hermitage Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Norton officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 9, from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 10 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Welch, 65, of Old Hickory, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe "Curly" Haralson.
Survivors include: husband of 47 years, Tommy Welch; sons, Scott (Gwyn) Welch, Adam (Christy) Welch and Greg (Cindy) Welch; grandchildren, Caroline, Hayden, Hayley, Jay, Gregory and Evan; mother, Naomi Haralson; sister, Sandra (Jerry) Pigue; brother, Kenneth (Peggy) Haralson; sister-in-law, Shirley Welch; brother-in-law, Allan Welch; several nieces and nephews and members of Old Hickory United Methodist Church.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Old Hickory United Methodist Church.
