Aubrey Gene “Baby” Mitchell
Services for Mr. Mitchell will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1 at Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Sellars and Matthew Neal officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday, 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Mitchell, 72, passed away Friday, Jan. 29, 2010.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Sarah Spann Mitchell; sisters, Wylene Harmon and Louise Williams; and brothers, Jerry and Robert Mitchell.
Survivors include: wife of 41 years, Polly Hale Mitchell; children, Donna Foster, Trisha Mitchell, Lisa (Eugene) Neal, Elizabeth (Roger) Dyer and J.R. (Janet) Dutton; siblings, Margaret McDonald, Don (Shirley) Mitchell and Edward (Nealie) Mitchell; grandchildren, Kelsey Foster, Marshallene Hooper, Amber and Matthew Neal, Crystal (Nick) Dutton, Anthony Dyer, and Angela Anello; and great-grandchildren, Zachary Anello and James Dyer.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Neal, Nick Dutton, Timmy Mitchell, Steven Hale, Dewayne Garcia and Chad Beard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Drennon, Paul Tramell, Bobby Lax and Charles Davis.
Sellars Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Services for Mr. Stewart was Friday, Jan. 29, at Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Scurlock officiating. Interment is in Gordonsville Cemetery.
Mr. Stewart, 73, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was a graduate of Stivers High School in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Stewart was the owner of L & P Sign Company in the Rawls Creek community in Smith County, where he designed signs for Cracker Barrel Corporation, Disney theme parks and other companies.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Wilmer Stewart.
Survivors include: wife of 22 years, Pauline Bush Stewart of Gordonsville; children, Linda (Joe) Grisham of Rawls Creek, Carl Stewart of Carthage, Tammy Robinson of Apoka, Fla., Helen Jones of Wooten, Ky., Velda Jarvis of Dayton, Ohio, Shirley (Steven) Smith of Bowling Green, Ky., Kenneth (Melissa) Lackey of Gallatin, Eddie Stewart of Unadilla, Ga., Ricky (Stacie) Barclay of Gordonsville and Paulette (Mike) Shoemake of Gordonsville; mother, Mary Rader Stewart of Dayton, Ohio, and brothers, Jim (Sue) Stewart of Ormond Beach, Fla., Henry (Judy) Stewart, Denver (Sue) Stewart and John (Shirley) Satewart, all of Dayton, Ohio.
