Winford Thomas "Winn" Murphy
Services for Mr. Murphy will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 18 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Delashmit officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Murphy, 20, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in Paris, Tenn. He was a 2007 graduate of Lebanon High School and worked for Protective Services Inc. and Sonic on Highway 109.
He was preceded in death by father, Fred Smith "Smitty" Murphy; grandparents, Fred Murphy, Mary Lee Oakley Jackson, Johnnie T. Johnson, Jasper Winford and Ruth Garton and Bob and Margaret Maynard.
Survivors include: mother, Mona Johnson Murphy; brothers, Brandon (Tabitha) Murphy of Shelbyville, Texas and John (Nicole) Murphy of Gordonsville; sister, Drenda Sorrels of Lebanon; aunts, Bonnie Wells and Patricia Clemons; nieces, Tamryn, Victoria and Molly Murphy; nephews, J.R. and Weston Murphy; cousins, Shane and Timmy Wells, Melissa, Brian, Jeff, Cory and Brad Clemons and Brandy Tomlinson.
Pallbearers will be Brian, Jeff, Cory and Brad Clemons, Billy Bob Jordan, Timmy Wells, Stephen Crutchfield and Brandon Gibson. Honorary pallbearers will be Friends and CoWorkers at Sonic and Protective Services.
Deo Karamchan Narine
Services for Mr. Narine will be 6 p.m. Saturday, July 18 at Sellars Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Narine, 63, of Lebanon, passed away on July 16, 2009.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ramnarine and Melanie Fulchan Rattan; and brother, Joseph Narine.
Survivors include: wife of 40 years, Joyce Singh Narine; daughter, Babita (Russ) Trego; grandchildren, Misty, Marianna and Marlayna Trego, Russell Wesley Trego, Russell Trego IV, and Ricky Trego; siblings, Sahadeo (Dhanmatee) Narine, Pulmatee Narine Partap, Ramesha Narine, Martin (Shantie) Narine, Kathleen (Keith) Maharaj, and John (Baby) Narine; special family member, Sheila Mangalsingh; and special friends, Margaret and Ralph Gooding.
Rosie M. Neal
Services for Ms. Neal will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 20 at Hellum Funeral Home with Bishop A.J. Valentine officiating. Interment will be in Rest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home.
Ms. Neal, 75, of Boston, Mass. and formerly of Lebanon, died Thursday, July 9, 2009.
Survivors include: sister, Mary K. Wynn; nephews, Andre, Warren, Larry and Vernon Wynn; niece, Elizabeth Masterson; and other relatives and friends.
