Services for Mr. Smith will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with the Pastor Todd Stevens officiating. Visitation will be 30 minutes before service.
Mr. Smith 46, of Mt. Juliet, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010. He was gifted in the area of computers and technology.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta B. Smith.
Survivors include: son, Jackson Alexander Smith; daughter, Sarah Jordan Smith of Mt. Juliet; father, Cecil Smith of Florida; sisters, Kathie (Dale) Harned of Nashville, Celia (Jim) Hilgeford of Arizona and Rosetta (Ted) Locker of California; brother, Franklin (Freda) Smith of Colorado; nieces, Rachel, Shelley, Krista and Julia and nephews, Larry and Gregory.
In lieu of flowers, make donations in Jeffrey's name to the Fathers' Rights Foundation or the church of your choice.

Services for Mr. Thompson will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 3, JC Hellum Funeral Chapel with Bishop A. J. Valentine. Interment will be in Jennings Cemetery in Statesville.
Mr. Thompson, 22, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010.
Survivors include: son, Dereon Thompson; mother, Sarah Holcomb; devoted mother and father, Gregory Sr. and Melinda K. Thompson; siblings, Sarah Thompson, Taris and Joshua Vantrease, LaGreggory Sweatt; grandparents, Curlie Davis, Ben Jr. and Lucille Thompson, friend, Alyx Qualls and relatives and friends.

Ernest M. Tyree
Services for Mr. Tyree will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes with Bro. Chris Blair officiating. A Masonic service will be 7 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at the funeral home conducted by New Middleton Masonic Lodge No. 249, F&AM. Graveside services with military honors will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 3, at Nashville National Cemetery, Gallatin Road, Nashville. Visitation will be Saturday, May 1, from 2-8 p.m. and Sunday, May 2, from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Tyree, 80, of Grant, Tenn., died Thursday, April 29, 2010. He served in the U.S. Army for 20 years from 1949 to March 1969, and was a veteran of both the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict. Later Mr. Tyree was involved with electronics sales. He was a member of New Middleton Masonic Lodge No. 249 F&AM, the New Middleton Baptist Church and was a volunteer at Joseph's Storehouse in Lebanon.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Eugene Tyree; parents, Mary Bell Rhea and James Andrew Tyree, two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include: wife, Dorothy Tyree of Grant, Tenn.; children, Donna Lee Ballast (Bob) Jensen of Austin, Texas and Bennie Andrew (Jayne) Tyree of Grant; grandchildrenm Katrina, Lauren, Hannah and Jane Elizabeth and great-grandchildren, Peyton and Ethan.
