John E. Dillard
Services for Mr. Dillard will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 at Wilson County Funeral Home with Bro. Jonas Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dillard, of Lebanon, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009. He was owner/operator of Dillard Prosthetic Orthotics in Nashville from 1950-1988 and then in Lebanon until he retired.
He was preceded in death by wife, Helen Dillard.
Survivors include: son, John C. Dillard; daughter, Carolyn (Wallace) Binkley; grandchildren, Angela (Dave) Welch, Daniel (Heather) Briggs, Mark Dillard and Amy (Chris) Earhart; and great-grandchildren, Shelby Holiman, Nathan and Dakota Briggs and Michael Dillard.
Mary Ross Garvin
Services for Mrs. Garvin will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bros. Jerry Smith and Bobby Goode officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Garvin, 88, of Mt. Juliet, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, a homemaker and retired from Better Built Aluminum.
She was preceded in death by parents, William James and Lula Frances Hoover Ross; husband, Otis Taylor Garvin; grandson, Jimmy David Gordon; and sister, Asalie Barrett.
Survivors include: children, Houston (Brenda) and Paul (Shawn) Garvin and Ida Mae (Jimmy) Gordon; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Paul Jr., Kevin and Stephen Garvin, Gabriel Sanchez, Tony Bible, James Woodall, Charles Mosley and Troy Frazier. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles, Earl, Ronnie and Jerry Garvin, James and Herbert Rowlett, Kenneth Barrett and the Ladies Senior Adult Sunday School Class at Fellowship Baptist Church.

Services fro Mrs. McBride will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Hunter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
Mrs. McBride, 80, of Watertown, passed away Nov. 7, 2009 at her residence. She was a retired Dispatcher of the Watertown Police Department, as well as a graduate of Watertown High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clark McBride; parents, Odell and Bess Osborne; sister, Billie Francis Weaver and brother, James T. Osborne.
Survivors include: brother, Frank D. Osborne of Brentwood; children, Pat (Bob) Fuller of Smyrna, Michael McBride of Lebanon, Pam (Howard) Kello of Lebanon, Debbie (Lawrence) Patterson of Greenvale, Nancy (David) James of Lebanon, Kenny (Cathy) McBride of Auburntown; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews; special friend, Priscilla Thomas.
Chris Bailey, Brian Kello, Preston James, Brandon James, Zeb McBride, Josh McNeely and Bob Felix will serve as pallbearers.
Bob D. Weaver Sr.
Services for Mr. Weaver will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church with the Rev. Arthur Montgomery officiating. Interment with military honors will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Thursday from 10-11 a.m.
Mr. Weaver, 75, of Shermans Dale, Penn. died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 in the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Born in Nashville, he was the son of the late Jack and Goldie (Hall) Weaver. He retired from Texas Eastern Gas Transmission Co. in 1989. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and Cumberland University. He was a member of Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church. He was a Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Survivors include: wife of 56 years, Verdana Weaver; sons, Bob D. Jr of Elliottsburg, Tim C. of Shermans Dale and David B. of Landisburg; daughter, Teresa Metz of Loysville and a brother, Charles Weaver of Lebanon; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
