Services for Mrs. Grisham will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon with Bro. Billy Hale officiating. Interment will be in Smith County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from noon until the service.
Mrs. Grisham, 74, of Gordonsville died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Hattie Kerr Scott.
Survivors include her husband, Omer Grisham; children, Donna (Marvin) Rowe and Eddie (Marsha) Trammell; sisters, Hazel Hunt and Morine Ramsey; brother, Kenneth Scott; grandchildren, Nicole (Terry) Hicks, April Sturgil, Matthew (Jennie) Trammell, Jodi Trammell, Kristi McSherry and Mikey Trammell; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Madison, Jameson, Ausin, Joey, Landon, Rylee and soon to be great-grandchild, Dylan.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Trammell, Mikey Trammell, Marvin Rowe, Terry Hicks, Larry Blackburn and Tommy Bowen. Eddie Trammell will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Michael Lynn Kent
Services for Mr. Kent will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown with Bro. Jason Groe and Bro. Matt Long officiating. Interment will be at the Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday, and will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 16, and from 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Kent, 55, of Alexandria, Tenn., died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at his home. He was born in June 1954 in Wilson County. A member of Upper Helton Baptist Church, Mr. Kent was a farmer and an employee of the Wilson County Road Commission. He graduated from Dekalb County High School in 1971 and attended Middle Tennessee State University where he played football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.E. and Iva Dell Johnson Kent; a sister, Peggy Faye Kent; and grandparents, Lula Johnson Vanatta and Claude Johnson, Edgar and Effie Mae Kent.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Roberts Kent; his children, Kelly (Brad) Driver and Kevin (Beth) Kent, both of Dowelltown; four grandchildren, Brady and Levi Driver, Wesley and Kaylee Kent; two sisters, Linda (William) Farmer and Shirley (Bob) Lowe, both of Lebanon; two brothers, Jerry (Regina) Kent of Smithville and Terry (Lisa) Kent of Alexandria; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the family.
