Ruby Jane Harris Binkley
Services for Mrs. Binkley will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at Wilson County Funeral Home with Bro. Gary McCalab officiating. Interment will be in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, Tenn. at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. and 9 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Binkley, 93, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 at University Medical Center. She was a native of Smith County, but lived much of her life in Nashville. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by parents, James I and Jenny High Harris; husband, Benny Binkley; brothers, Hubert, Hugh Lee (Myrtle), Willard and Albert Harris; niece, Denise Underwood; nephews, Ronald (Faye) Wallace, Danny and Robert (Margie) Harris, Randolph Reeves, Michael Torrance and Melford Lee Harris.
Survivors include: son, Michael; grandson, Kevin Binkley of Nashville; sisters, Dorothy (Joseph) Bergeron of Columbus, Ga., Ernestine Brown of Orlando, Fla., Mary Bess Torrance of Palmetto, Fla., Diane White of Citrus Heights, Calif.; brother, Floyd Harris of Mansfield, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Kathryn (Leslie Jr.) Sullivan, Clara Tucker; niece, Vickey (Eddie) Jones; nieces and nephews, Paula (Ronald) Stark and Leesha (Bruce) Richardson of Lebanon, Debi (Edward) Jefferies, Patricia(Bill) Bowden. Jennie (Michael) Calleja, Hilda Torrance, Karen White, Hedy (John Fisher) Reeves, Jim, Larry (Tina), Terry (Jennifer) and Eddie (Twilla) Harris, of Lebanon, Floyd Jr., Mark and James Harris, Gerald, Gregory and Douglas Torrance and Paul White.

Earlene Burks Jackson
Services for Ms. Jackson will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at Hellum Funeral Home with the Rev. Woodrow Harris officiating. Interment will be in Rest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Ms. Jackson, 73, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 at West Houston Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
Survivors include: sons, Brian Derek (Jacquelin) and Delmas Jackson III; daughters, Danielle and Denise Jackson; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Martha Johnson, Eleanor Caruthers and Charlene Robertson; and other relatives and friends.

Dorothy Mai Majors
Services for Mrs. Majors will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at Rutland Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Majors officiating. Interment will be in Rutland Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until the service at the church.
Mrs. Majors, of Mt. Juliet, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by parents, Willie and Myrtle Bender; husband, Hubert Majors; 13 siblings; children, Nathaniel Bender and Elizabeth Faye Jackson; and step-son, Robert Lee Majors.
Survivors include: five sons, seven daughters, and a step-daughter, Mildred (Curtis) Muirhead, Dexter (Mai Charles), Carol, Larry, Bobby Phyllis, Tracy and Keith Majors, Cynthia Stewart, La Nitra (Ricky) Ford, Yvanne (Gary) Jackson, Delphine Dobson and Deatrice Butler; 57 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Major Jackson and Myron Dobson; daughters-in-law, Mary, Gina and Catandra Majors; nephew, Thomas (Sarah) Bender; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Hellum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Samuel Andrew McCool
Services for Mr. McCool will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home in Henderson, Ky. with the Rev. Donnie Risley officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. McCool, of Lebanon, formerly of Evansville, Ind. passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 at the University Medical Center. He worked in the window and door manufacturing industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Sissie McCool.
Survivors include: wife of 27 years, Roxie Wallace McCool of Lebanon; sons, Alan and Cade McCool, both of Lebanon; sisters, Leslie McCool of Burlington, Vt. and Martha Thorbeck, Sally Small and Amy Henton, all of Evansville; brothers, Tom McCool of Placitas, N. M. and Joe, Ralph and Fred McCool, all of Evansville; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fifth Third Bank Trust Account on 20 NW 3rd St. in Evansville, Ind. 47708.

Charles Dean Thomas
Services for Mr. Thomas will be 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at Hellum Funeral home with Bishop A.J. Valentine officiating. Interment will be in Price Cemetery at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8. Visitation will be 6:30 p.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Thomas, 72, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 at University Medical Center.
Survivors include: son, Kenneth; brothers, James Anderson and Calvin Fentress; aunt, Annie Lee Chapman; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
