Curtis D. Hollopeter
Private family services for Mr. Hollopeter will be scheduled at a later date.
Mr. Hollopeter, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009. He was a Protestant, a charter member of the Conn-Weissenberger American Legion Post 587 in Toledo, Ohio. His prior affiliations include the Toledo local, the Ohio state, and the national chapters of the Chemical Specialties Manufacturers Association. He also contributed to the regional and national Wholesale Pharmaceutical Associations. He served in combat in World War II.
He was preceded in death by wife, Laura J. “June” of Lebanon; parents, Clayton D. and Nellie Hollopeter of Toledo, Ohio; and granddaughter, Kristin Hollopeter of Toledo.
Survivors include: sister, Gloria Hinkle, Temple, Texas; children, Suzanne (Ed) Erdmann of Austin, Texas, Jodi (Jerry) Davis of Mt. Juliet, Dina (Mike) Bozsoki of Lebanon and Craig Hollopeter (Carol) of Toledo; grandchildren, Jay, Andy and Emily Erdmann, Jennifer Davis-Kelley, Jessica Gould and Tim Hollopeter; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Josh, Erin, Maddie, Emma, Ben and Oliver.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish of Northwest Ohio, 405 Madison Avenue, Ste 210, Toledo, Ohio 43603.
Sellars Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Haywood Massey
Services for Mr. Massey will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bros. Wayne Jamison and Jeff Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Massey, 85, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 at his residence. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and a US Army veteran serving in the European Theatre. He was a member of Tuckers Crossroads United Methodist Church, a life long farmer and retired from the Wilson County Board of Education where he was a maintenance supervisor.
He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Walter and Vesta Pearl Dice Massey; son, Kevin Massey; brothers, Joseph, Leon and Ramon Massey; and sister, Nerma Jamison.
Survivors include: wife of 57 years, Claudine Highers Massey; sons, Larry (Shirley) and Mike Massey; grandchildren, Robbi Grigsby, David Paris, Mandy Rogers and Terra and Justin Massey; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Massey; and seven great-grandchildren.
