Willie B. Scott
Mrs. Scott, 91, passed away Sept. 3, 2010 at Quality Care nursing home. Her remains will be conveyed to Dallas, Texas for funeral services.

Audrey Vaden Whitaker
Graveside services for Mrs. Whitaker will be conducted Thursday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. from the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, from 9-10:30 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
Mrs. Whitaker, 81, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, Sept. 3, at the Pavilion. She was retired from Hartmann Luggage and was a Baptist in belief.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe M. Whitaker; granddaughter, Dana Smith Sims; brothers, Buford and Eugene Vaden; sisters, Irene Stubblefield and Guila Byers; parents, William Turner Vaden and Johnnie Lynch Vaden.
Survivors include: two children, Bill (Janice) Whitaker and Shirley A. Henry, both of Lebanon; sister, Jewell Wilson of Smyrna; two grandsons, Jason (Jennifer) Johnston of New York, N.Y. and Jeramye (Amy) Whitaker of Paris; six great-grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Alive Hospice or the Pavilion (Activities Fund).

Joel Daniel Zimmerly
A Celebration of Life will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Life Assembly Church, 555 Pleasant Grove Rd. in Mt. Juliet, with Pastor Andrew Wharton officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30-7 p.m. on Thursday at the church.
Mr. Zimmerly, 49, of Old Hickory, passed away Monday, Sept. 6, 2010. He was a member of Life Assembly Church, a financial analyst for MedAssets, Inc. and a professor at Phoenix University. He enjoyed gold and NASCAR and had worked on the pit crew for Dave Marcus.
Survivors include: wife, Patricia G. Zimmerly; son, Nathaniel Joel Zimmerly; parents, Daniel E. and Donna Sturgis Zimmerly; brother, Steven J. Zimmerly; niece and nephew, Kylie and Calvin Zimmerly.
