Naomi McFarland Brooks

Services for Mrs. Brooks will be noon Thursday, Jan. 15 at Hellum Funeral Home with Eld. James Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Benevolent Lodge No. 91 Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brooks, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009.

Survivors include: husband, Steve Brooks Sr.; sons, Steve Jr. and Eld. James Brooks; daughters, Ida McClain, Maxine Brooks, Deloris Sadler, Stephanie Spencer and Dianne Jordan; sister, Ruby Butler; and brothers, James and Eld. Robert McFarland.

Craig Calvin Brown

A Memorial Service will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14 at Hosanna Fellowship Church in Watertown.

Mr. Brown, 58, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2009.

He was preceded in death by mother, Doris Murray Brown.

Survivors include: brother, Mark Brown; sister, Cheryl Brown Montgomery; father, George Brown, all of Slidell La.; and friends, Joyce and Henry Verbeke, Joyce and Jimmy Craddock, Mike Spangler, Jessie Woodsen, and O.J.

Eugene John McDonough

Mr. McDonough, 56, of Murfreesboro, passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Sellars Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Sellars Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by parents, Martin and Katherine Young McDonough; and daughter, Christy Renee McDonough.

Survivors include: wife of 29 years, Cheryl Rollins McDonough of Murfreesboro; son, Terry Martin McDonough of Naples, Italy; brother, Robert (Patricia) McDonough of Watertown; mother-in-law, Judy Rollins of Lebanon; and special group, Sweeney’s Invitational Golf Classic.

Linda Patterson

Services for Mrs. Patterson will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at Wilson County Funeral Home. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Patterson, of Lebanon, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at University Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by mother, Ruby Norris.

Survivors include: husband, William Patterson; sons, Jesse Gunn III and Michael (Rebecca) Patterson of Brentwood; daughters, Stacy (Joseph) Rohtert of Mt. Juliet and Kelley Gunn of LaVergne.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Alive Hospice of WIlson County or National Cancer Society.

Thelma Rae Rittenberry

Graveside services for Mrs. Rittenberry will be noon Tuesday, Jan. 13 at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Rittenberry, 73, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009.

She was preceded in death by husband, Luke Rittenberry; parents, Ernest and Euria Taylor Fiveash; and son, John Wesley Rittenberry.

Survivors include: children, Dolly Frances Tate, Lois Louise Tate, Wanda Fay Angelworth, Sandra Jean (Billy Prewett) Rittenberry, Kenneth Wayne Rittenberry, Mark Anthony Rittenberry, and Mary Ann White, all of Lebanon; and brother, James Fiveash of Hartsville.

Sellars Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

George Waterman

A Home Going Celebration for Mr. Waterman will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10 at Bond Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Jon Gray and Donald Schultheis officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Waterman, 88, of Mt. Juliet, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009. He was a member of Covenant Fellowship Church of the Nazarene and a US Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by parents, John Randall and Florence MacKenzie Waterman; and wife, Marion McLea Waterman.

Survivors include: son, James (Margaret) Waterman of Amherst, N.H.; daughter, Nancy (Jon) Gray of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren, Julie and Jeffrey Gray, Heather Rampey, and Michael and Matthew Waterman; and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, MacKenzie and Zachary Gray, Paige and Jacob Rampey and Nathaniel Waterman.

Pallbearers will be Stonewall Johnson, Jeff Gray, Mark Rampey, Gene Miller, Larry Mason and Bill Jackson.
