Mrs. Campbell, 88 of Mt. Juliet, passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009. She grew up during the Depression. She was a Fuller Brush lady for many years. For more than 35 years she was the church pianist and then, organist for Full Gospel Assembly in Presque Isle. She taught Sunday School. Well into her 80â€™s, she was able to live on her own, and was the church organist for Rev. John Palmerâ€™s church in Carson, Maine.
She was preceded in death by husband of 50 years, Bernard Vance Campbell; parents, John and Aleva Pettengill; son, Garry Dale Campbell; brother, George â€œGeorgieâ€ Pettengill; sisters, Winnifred â€œWinnieâ€ Pettengill and Dora Ryder Corey.
Survivors include: son, Brent (Sandra) Campbell of Cadyville, N.Y.; daughter, Karen Duncan of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren, Scott Stephen Campbell of Dannemora, N.Y., Jeffrey Brent (Melanie) Campbell of Keeseville, N.Y., Lance William Campbell of Donelson, Derek Craig Campbell of Altona, N.Y., Andrew Lane Campbell of Hermitage, Jodi Kae (Clinton) Watts Thomas of Spring Hill, and Jonathan Bradley (Dana) Watts of Mt. Juliet; great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Plummer Titveidt of Saranac, N.Y., Livia Loren Thomas and Elijah Calan Thomas of Spring Hill, twins Mckayla Dei and Kaitlyn Marie Watts of Mt. Juliet; great-great-grandson, William Titveidt of Saranac, N.Y.; niece, Faith Corey Cochran of Easton, Maine; and six other nieces and nine nephews.
Sellars Funeral Home in Mt. Juliet is in charge of arrangements.
Services for Mrs. Helton will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Helton, of Lebanon, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by parents, John and Eula Barrett Ward.
Survivors include: husband of 58 years, Grover Donald Helton; brother, E.R. (May) Ward; children, Phyllis (Les) Heiser, Donald Ward (Cristi) Helton and Rickey (Marilyn) McCormick; grandchildren, Christopher Brandon and Blake Michael (Shana) Helton; and friends and relatives, Lloyd Smith, Bob Bucy, Sarah Massey, Becky Salin and Judy and Carlos Gann.

Rev. Roy Lee Huddleston Jr.
Services for Rev. Huddleston will be 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 16 at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers, Ark. Interment will be in Elm Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 5â€“7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Rev. Huddleston, 65, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009 in Memphis. He was born in Detroit, Mich., the son of the late Roy Lee Huddleston Sr. and Winfred Carter Huddleston. He married Kay Thorne on Aug. 28, 1966 in Bruceton, Tenn. They moved to Springdale in 1989. Rev. Huddleston was a minister at SonRise Ministry.
Survivors include: wife, Kay; son, Roy L. (Jenn) Huddleston III; daughters, Angela (Kris) Knight, Michelle (Danny) Johnson and Laura (Semi) Ratulele; brothers, Andy, Steve and Marc Huddleston; sisters, Nancy Scarlett and Gay Holt; and 10 grandchildren.

James Ross "J.R." Leavitt
Services for Mr. Leavitt will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Dr. Craig Goff officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Leavitt, 29, of Donelson, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, George and Elsie Bartholomew and A. Ross Leavitt; and uncle, Lyle Leavitt.
Survivors include: parents, Rodney and Judy Leavitt of Old Hickory; daughter, Allison Sordelet of Smyrna; half-sister, Collette (Pedro) Rodriguez of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; sister, Denise (Christopher) Melvin of Lebanon; twin sister, Jennifer (Dustin) Lambert of Unionville, Tenn.; grandparents, Evelyn Leavitt of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Hazel Leavitt of Afton, Wyo.; nieces, Tatiana, Salyssa and Jezmyn Rodriguez, Madelyn Melvin and Elsie Lambert; and aunts and uncles, Sharon (Phil) Gibson, Cheryl (John) O'Very, Terrie (Lon) Ridpath, Kent (Cheri) Rowe, Darlene (Ron) Mitchell, Debbie (Monte) Davis and Dannelle Leavitt; and several cousins.
Pallbearers will be Eric Patterson, Paul and James Hedges, John Depp, Drew Underwood, Sam Gaddis and Wes and Andy German.
Bond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Services for Mr. Nicholson were held Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Phil DePriest officiating. Interment was in Mapleview Cemetery with full military rites.
Mr. Nicholson, 37, of Milton, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008 at University Medical Center. He was a member of the Pentecostals of Murfreesboro and Director of Maintenance at Smyrna Air Center.
Survivors include: wife, Stacy Cavallaro Nicholson; daughters, Brandee Luttman of Lebanon and Chelsea Nicholson of Milton; son, Caleb Nicholson of Milton; mother, Melissa White of Woodbury; brother, Steve Nicholson of Woodbury; sister, Annette Bodily of Lavergne; and half-sisters, Jennifer McKinney and Stacie Truitt, both of Lebanon.
